MemberLooks fantastic! I can't wait,,, I love the ability to use the guns and plasmids without doing the switch. the fire in the air traps, could you do that in the first one? I played the whole thing and never tried that, it looks like it'd make those waaaay more useful.
Membereden – does that include encore levels or just the first ten? and damn, by the time I do that I probably won't wanna play it any more. And uh, thats hilarious, I'm sure listening to her songs would motivate you to kill… I'd fire my bolt gun right up her skirt…
any way… favorite zep song? honestly don't know… uhm… I think that might depend on the day of the week… hah, Black Dog seems to always stuck in my head… the ocean song is great, misty mountain hop is always a good time.. .ahh don't ask me to choose man!
and I don't know how you feel about the beatles, I think they're awesome too, but theres a guitar hero style beatles game coming out (not sure if its actually under the guitar hero label or not). I'm not a fan of guitar hero really, but I think that might be a game worth checking out, if it does a good tribute and really follows the band through their changing styles and times. A zeppelin follow up would be badass! hah.
And I guess its not really a firmware thing, and its a small note, but integrating the multiple login names into more games? Ala LBP, I feel like theres some co op games out there that would benefit from being able to do this to maintain personal settings. I use inverted controls, my friends dont, etc, itd be nice to use the login names for more stuff.
Memberfavorite band dude. favorite album is Physical Graphitti. absolutely fantastic stuff. favorite pandora station too, its all I listen to at work, hah, I love a lot of music from that era. Zep + vid games = me rockin' out and woopin' ass. Actually that brings me to another thought. I can't even look at other players profiles in the XMB without it shutting off my music! thats stupid too! It should just be integrated to run the music in the background while I do ANYTHING on PS3, except maybe fiddle with certain system settings (I can understand why that wouldn't be possible). And maybe this is too much to ask, but if I could go back into the menu with the visualizer still running in the background, that'd be pretty sweet too.
Memberindeed… hopefully modern warfare 2 comes with that feature too, cause thats probably the only shooter I'll buy and play the rest of this year. Oh and yeah, if you ever get that time machine, let me know. I'm right there with ya.

MemberI might take you up on that for the Ne'Desu fight (or whatever his name his) in pro mode. The big guy you shoot with the truck thing. I just did it on veteran and it had me frustrated there,,, so I'm sure on pro it sucks. I'm not there yet tho… and prefer to go as far as I can on my own. thanks for the offer
MemberI'm new here, and was wondering myself what the rules are. I seem to get away with cursing quite a bit (I don't try to, I'm just naturally foul mouthed). But I have gotten my topics locked on other sites quite easily (one in particular, I was on sony's site and compared ps3 to xbox, and immediately got locked out), and would prefer to know whats cool and whats not so my disussions don't get ended that way.
Memberwell go NFS, cause thats my biggest complaint. no matter what game I play, if I really enjoy it I'll play it a lot, and the music will get overplayed. I have to switch it up, or it drives me nuts.
MemberOi! they did spoil the story kinda! however, I didn't realize how different your powers would look based on karma until now, thats pretty cool. It's one thing when your character changes appearance, I sort of expected that, but the red/blue gives a cool effect. I know, its a small feature.
Whats OPM?
Anybody see that debug mode video on IGN? I want to know if theres going to be a way to unlock that in the game. I used to program a lot, and I miss seeing debug mode access in games, its always fun to mess around or just see how it works.
MemberI heard that pre-orders at a lot of places get you that demo, otherwise yes, the 21st is the US release of the demo, supposedly.

MemberABSOLUTELY must be able to play my music during any game!! what is the point of having it on the hard drive if I can't listen during my games? Xbox has been able to do this forever, how is it the great and mighty PS3 can't?! It seems like a really basic feature to be missing out on, and I only own two games that have integrated it into their system (PAIN and Burnout Paradise). Do any others even exist?
Also, voice chat in general, whether in or out of a game. I don't need to see who I'm talking to. I have a headset and no web cam, woopty doo, let me chat any way.
Also, I have a major issue with my ps3 locking up while watching videos in the internet browser. It will stop playing, and the only thing I can do is exit the browser… however I won't be able to navigate any menus after that. My only solution is restarting the system. This is seemingly random, I can't figure it out, cause sometimes I can go back to the exact same video and it will play fine. So yeah, a browser update?
I like the idea of sending music to each other, I just discovered yesterday that we can't do that. How about the ability to make our own changing backgrounds? I don't see it coming since apparently some people shell out money for themes, but still, a custom slideshow for a background would be awesome.
Is there a reason we can't download game updates in the background? some of them are rather large and slow, it'd be nice to play something (anything) while waiting.
