MemberThey've posted that they are working on them right now. It's probably just a little bit more complex for them to add them than the other ones that were patched. Remember they are retroactive, so they have to also build a routine that goes and checks your current progress in the game and award those trophies first.
MemberThe bikes are a blast. The best though is the night and day changing and the weather. The challenges seem a bit easy, and there seems to be a little less traffic, but it is a blast to just cruise around the map.
MemberMy son and I are working on the Pain trophies. Ironically Pain was one of the first games with trophies, they were just in game ones. Anyway we started by getting the bowling trophy and are now working on grenade a maid. I forgot how much fun I had with this game and am having a blast with the new level and trophies. Very challenging though!

MemberI think it's a bit of familiarity. Remember that a lot of these guys have been at it for over a year on the same maps. They know all the nooks and crannies and know where all the weapons spawn. I am starting to get better now too knowing that I can't just run somewhere blindly. There is almost always a sniper ready to take a rookie out. As far as flying, I am still pretty terrible at it. I practice on the tutorial level a little bit.
MemberThis thread is exactly the downside to trophies and achievements in games. I can see going into a forum and try to organize some people to get some non gameplay related trophies. Need to find 9 people to get a clan related trophy? Sure group up and do it. Need to find somebody to stand still while you snipe them 2500 yards away? Play the fricking game and do it for real. Warhawk is a huge game and there are going to be hundreds of opportunities to get some of these trophies, so why take the fun and challenge out of them to just sit there and organize a trophy extravaganza?
The trophy/achievement system is fun to play the game and get a sense of accomplishment when a rare trophy award pops up. To circumvent the system doesn't make it a reward at all and it removes any credibility from your gamer card.
It's just stuff like this that'll make this website and it's forums irrelevant for real gamers looking for new friends or challengers.
MemberIt looks like each booster pack gives you 3 silver trophies, and 1 gold each, so yes 12 total trophies for all 3 booster packs. You can buy all 3 for $15.99.
MemberIt may be a rumor still, but I'm pretty sure the Pain Amusement Park and Trophy patch will hit the PSN Store next week.
MemberYes, my topic might have been misunderstood. The facts on Burnout are that the trophies are retroactive and it is possible that when the patch goes live, that some people will instantly receive their platinum for the game.
The other facts also look like the bike patch will be hitting very soon, and then a patch for the trophies. After that is when we get the bonus island patch. At least that is the order of things on their website right now.
All this after purchase free support makes me hate 2K games even more for not patching in trophies for Civ Rev and the upcoming games that won't have trophies.

MemberMy kids and I have been patiently waiting close to a year now for the Amusement park level. It's a bonus that trophies come with it.
MemberI noticed a few trophies for starting and joining a clan. I tried joining one but must be too much of a noob to get accepted. I'm going to get the new expansion pack too. It's a good deal when you can get all 3 now for $15.99 total.
MemberGarrant 3, the the 3 people blown up at once is pretty easy when you get to the jeep level. On the right hand side there is a barrell and 3 baddies that run out at once. Hit that barrell at the right time and you'll see all 3 of them airborne. It's pretty touchy so it'll take 5-10 minutes but it does work. Just reset to checkpoint at the first archway and you'll have it.
The mistake I made was that I was about a third of the way through Hard and I decided to do the steel fist expert and a few others so I played chapter select. Bad idea! I had to restart my Hard game all over again because it didn't have credit for those chapter ones I did. Might be Zrez's problem he posted.
MemberFrom what I could tell 3 shots max and dead. I'm at the plane crash site now and I can't get past it to the plane, which is the easier wave of enemies. For me it's not the number of shots I take, it's the slow recovery time from near fatal that gets me killed.
MemberThe problem with that is that Sony isn't requiring developers to include them. MS made it a requirement from Day one that Achievements be a part of the game.
