How about an opposing view on the subject, that actually talks to these people, interviews them, and then tells them exactly why they are ignorant ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE***? Yeah, I thought you'd like that. Penn and Teller: Bullshit is a fantastic show full of gratuitous nudity and foul language, but in the process always raises good points on convoluted issues. Following is a link to an episode they did fully on the video games issue, and a warning that this is for mature audiences only. Cause I know all you guys are over 18 years old, right?

Also, I'm not entirely sure of the legality of the episode being posted on that website, so I claim I'm not responsible for you clicking on that. But you should totally watch it. PS: its a full half hour episode, watch the whole thing. The ending really makes the point.
Thanks for the link BWM. Its worth the 30 minutes just too see the ending, if that doesnt show some of these idiots that violent games dont de-sensitise children I dont know what ill

I wish he had brought some DS's with Scribbulous, or what eva its called, or a Wii with Wii Sports to show everyone that there are plenty of child/family games
christus11MemberIt weird that you have been asking, over the past couple of days I have spent a couple of hours in Home, only because I can be bothered to play any real games atm.
Theres still loads of problems with Home if you ask me,
1. Queueing to play arcade games is stupid, I can see that the developers are trying to make it real but thats not really a good enough reason.
2.Downloading all the new areas, I dont understand how Home works but it seems wierd that everthing has to be downloaded on my HDD and cannot be streamed to me, maybe Sony should look at having a disc so we dont have to download everything
3.Lag, when you enter a new area it can take up to a minute before my avatar becomes fully responsive, sometimes this happens when there appears to be no-one around me, why is it so slow??
Videos can take soo long to load sometimes, I was waiting for so long just to watch what was basically a glorified ad.
4.One of Homes biggest problems is that it trying to be like real life, but fails. Why cant we run? Why cant we jump?
5.The game engine is able to make nice trees and water and beaches but some of the graphics are very bad (like a rubbish PSN game)
I dont think Home should be viewed as a social networking place, but as something separate that can be enjoyed when you have no other games to play.
As Home is still in the Beta stage I do think that there is still hope for it, but if some changes arent made then I do think it will loss its appeal.
I remember being promised a train to different areas, but I think that it would be a waste of time, but I do think that Sony should say if there is a trophy room coming or if that has been dropped.
Hope this helps!!!!
christus11MemberI had it, traded in in a couple of days ago. I was Valor and level 8
christus11MemberAztec – Im very confident that i saw under the T and C that the free flow could only be downloaded once, if deleted and re-downloaded it would have to be paid for.
Finch – i dont remember there being any free stuff on the EU page other than a wipeout dynamic theme that was free. And i agree that there should be one store for everyone, especially with downloaded content that doesnt need shipping and other costs so theres no reason it cant be sold everywhere.
Does any1 know if the xbox marketplace is international or does that have variations between territories?
christus11MemberI think SCEA (sony america) got wise of people outside NA making american accounts (a load of my m8s and i did) just to get Rug Doll for free so this time they used the IP to stop this.
Why dont all Sony territories have the same games and offers, eg the NA and Europe Homes are different, we get different stuff on the Store, not all games get published in both territories (Demons Soul still isnt out, GOW collection isnt going to be released).
christus11MemberIve looked at the T and C and its available in US and Canada, is there any similar offer from SCEE?
christus11MemberBigWoopMagazine, I dont think you Americans understand “free” health care, its not free – we pay higher taxes but your right this guy doesnt want to talk about the politics
Kingofgames, Im sorry for your situation and I hope the rest of the year is better for you
January 20, 2010 at 10:14 pm in reply to: ATTN: UK gamers; would you trade a UK PSN card for a Canadian one? #55901christus11MemberHey I would like to help but cant sorry, just a word of warning – you said that DLC is not region-free, which you clearly know but Im sure that DLC will not work on accounts from different regions either.
Say ur primary account is Canadian and you make a UK one to get the DLC, the DLC will work on the UK account but changing back and using the DLC on the Canadian account will not work. I know that full PSN titles work on different regions but the DLC will not, thats why its not region free.
You might want to check this because I might be wrong, good luck anyway
christus11Memberit looks like the guy hacked into the servers and found the game mode, if he was able to make it from scratch then IW have some big security issues on their servers.
IW did make new game modes for COD4, so they might be making these for MW2. I think they will charge but we will have to wait.

i doubt they'll make us pay for it either (well at leat certaintly not pc versions of the game) because the modes are already on the disc, so technically we've already payed for them, and why cut the content and not full get rid of the coding, it does seem bizarre, oh and there is another two modes along with this one.
You say u will not have to pay but RES5 had the DLC on the disk for 360/PS3 and it had to be payed for, i dont know if it was the same for PC.
What are the other 2 game modes???
christus11MemberI agree with I773D33MABL3, the help on these forums has been very useful.
One problem with the forum is that sometimes people appear very hostile towards other members, even if they dont actually mean to be.

why wouldnt he approve it.
We are not saying Admin will not approve – just that until he does there is no point in posting reviews because as CoryAllen says it would end up as an unorganised mess.
Btw I have been thinking and should we request that all reviews are written in standard english, reading paragraphs of short-hand can sometimes take longer in my opinion
christus11MemberSounds like a good idea, id be up for reviewing – I think there needs to be categories, like graphics/sounds/gameplay/story/lifespan. and should the quality of the trophies be included??
christus11MemberSuper Mario World for the SNES, and I have to thank my neighbours who gave it to me when they moved house.
WipEout for the PS1 was my favourite game for years
