Hey, where's Perry?
Perhaps he's looking for the Admin.

Oh, and maybe it's me but this shows Gearbox can't make jack shit other than Borderlands and Brothers of Arms. Randy Pitchford should be ashamed of himself.
Much the same with DN, this game has been through the hands of a few dev. teams… It seems the old IP's that Gearbox do pick up are so beyond repair that the only real result can be that they suck ass…
It would also seem that the only part of the game people say is ok, the MP, was the only part that Gearbox actually developed themselves… http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-02-12-aliens-colonial-marines-primary-development-outsourced-to-section-8-developer-timegate-studios-report
I heard it was the other way around myself, that Gearbox had done most of the work and outsourced the MP section??
And even though the games have been pretty poor I think it shows a certain, albeit failed, ambition… Taking chances that few others are? They do need a solid new IP though, people aren't gonna forget DN and A:CM for a good while They need something to prove they ain't no one trick pony and shake off the bad rep. they now have… A:CM should have made amends slightly for DN, not add to the sh!tstorm…
And Half-life was a pretty good port, I know they didn't make the game… Gearbox even up-scaled it a little back then They can do some things right… Sometimes….
Doc-BMemberGraphics don't make a game though!?
Anyone think if it's a 'decent' survival horror it might be good? If it can immerse you in the tension and drama enough you'll soon forget about graphics… Unfortunately, it looks like it might be ass also Has there been any official info on the story or even what genre it's going to be?
If anything I think it'll definitely need that 'scary' vibe to succeed? Otherwise it might just become some 'fetch-based' snooze fest… And I'm not a massive 'TWD' fan but it seems a risk releasing a poor game for what seems a popular series… Game of Thrones all over again
Doc-BMemberIt's really not that bad, it def. won't cost you the plat…
I think when you get to the 'river' cards the game even tells you your hand probability on the right/left hand side of the screen every time you look at your cards?
I just played 4 games on easy, honestly took like 10-20min when I finally found a method that worked…Easy
Doc-BMemberRockstar, without actually saying it, have suggested, for a good long while at least, GTA V will not be coming to 'next gen'… This is a good thing…
Also:
To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they’re all nonsense – literally the only reason we’ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be.
For those of you asking about the official box art, that will be coming out a bit later as well.
Thank you all for understanding
Doc-BMemberI was also toying about with the idea of GTA being a launch title but the dates just seems to clash a little to much… And that backwards compatibility and future DLC might also become a problem in future sales of the Ps4…
It does seem really strange that one of the potentially biggest selling games of the year is being placed so close to a new console launch…
One interesting speculation I've read is that GTA V has been made for 'next gen' consoles and is actually being 'ported back' for the Ps3 and 360… So that's good for Ps4 but not so much Ps3 perhaps? Next gen timed exclusive I hope not because Sony just don't have the cash? – This has now been denied by Rockstar
As for the price… I really don't think it's gonna be to much? Blu-ray and the Cell chip cost Sony a lot of money to develop, this time round it's mostly new versions of old tech.? I think people will be surprised at the price but for good reasons But I'm ready to be totally wrong when the details are revealed

I just hope this is about the Ps4 and has some solid information rather than just a silly name reveal and what it looks like…
E3 looks like it might be pretty good this year though, no?
Doc-BMemberCan't be assed writing sh!t the day… But this is interesting?

Epic Fail!!
—I honestly don't know why I wrote November… The only reason I can think is because I'd just been reading the rumor of a November release for Japan and America, while the EU will have to wait till early 2014…
Still… What a fud
Perhaps I can ask Admin to change it

I don't mind that we don't have lists anymore but I would've liked for him to be like “Hey guys, getting all these lists together really sucks… I'd rather just not update them anymore for the few that actually look at them.” I dunno, something…
Aaaaaaaand then you woke up…

Nah, I'm smokin' up whatever Dr. Earnhardt has
Seriously though, I found Skyrim to be dull in every sense of the word
You must be hitting the hard stuff now man

Just Cause 2 is awesome and I was actually hoping for essentially a First Person, smaller but smoother version of it with a tense masterpiece of a story. There'd be no huge explosions or crazy scope but that's all I want from it. So is it basically that, Doc?
Pretty much… It's a really good game don't get me wrong, you should def. enjoy it for sure… The sharks freak me out!!
I can't argue it looks really pretty and runs really smooth… Very nice… Get it Played!! Let us know what you think

If you had just said you had more fun in Just Cause 2 or you prefer games with more game time, then I wouldn't have a problem. You make it sound like Just Cause 2 is obviously superior by a large margin.
I never said JC2 was a better game, or try to make points that i think make it better… I was only explaining to Scotty why I personally would play JC over FC given the chance… That's the only reason I also never mentioned any of the negative aspects of the game… It was a biased opinion, but only because scotty asked for the reasons as to why I'd rather play it and they're naturally all going to be positive…
I don't think it would be fair to objectively compare the two on any aspect, at the heart they're very different games and years apart(FPS/3rd person – 2010/2012)… It's just that the general feel of FC reminded me slightly of JC… And then JC3, so perhaps i got a little excited… I'm sorry if it came across a little hyperbole
—
I know you didn't ask me, but do I actually think, pros and cons, that JC2 is better… Personally yes…
I wouldn't agree with all of your opinions on JC2, but I'm not sure if you were trying to overtly negative as a direct comparison due to my comment? I didn't mean to compare, but if i had to then for me it's still JC2, and some of JC2 was very, very frustrating for all the wrong reasons; the plane challenges spring to mind, all the things you mention, taking into account what your saying about the weapon selection, the driving (was it that good in FC3?) the older effects etc., but was it worth it for all the content and other epic sh!t, indeed!!
FC3 is pretty basic when you think about it, the repetition, when you get better weapons (sniper)and takedowns (stealth kill heavy guard)the outposts are really easy… Some of the arguments you make against against JC2, could be levelled at FC3 also? There's just a lot less of it… Most of the things you mention are due to tech. advancements and not even that new, that's not really fair on FC2?
It just looks and plays really nice, but and I'm not as sold on the story as some… After all that 'explore your insanity' stuff and the emphasis on insanity, I thought a 'Shutter Island' style storyline would've been cool… With his friends and Vaas being parts of his subconscious or something…
I guess it just depends what you think makes a game 'good' or 'better', I just personally prefer fun over performance… And I had much more fun in JC2 even with it's negatives, where as FC3 almost had no negatives but just lacked that little something, for me anway…

And sorry, but the grappling hook was awesome!!

@ Doc
Also, how can you say you'd want to play Just Cause 2 over Far Cry 3? Doc, you cray-cray
I think you've been smoking the same stuff as those people who say it's 'Skyrim with guns', eh…
You have played Just Cause 2, right!?
It's more fun, the map was larger and taller , I think it was longer story with more side activities and hours more exploration, finding the quality little 'Easter eggs' type things… The 'shark-fin motor', hot air balloon and exploding whale being just a few I remember off-hand… More weapons and vehicles… The mix of urban and jungle landscape; Snow and desert areas…
The final mission was a ton of fun… The 'Electro club' on the air-ship was pretty cool… Flying around the island in that little agency plane when it was maxed was sweet… Base jumping… Riding on the outside of flying planes!! Etc.
The value for money was definitely there… Almost twice the content!? 100% JC2 was not for the weak of heart, not the trophies just the overall game…
The grappling hook and parachute mechanic is amazing when you get the hang off it and you could lose hours just messing about not actually doing anything really at all… Trophies were realistic to the scope of the game… I'll always remember it more than FC3…
Only my opinion of course, and only cause you asked

Just Cause 3 is all but confirmed for Ps4… Nice!!
