the standard ps3 may cost a lot but i do you think it may be possible sony stripped the consoles? i.e geting rid of the blu ray drives for a start, im not too sure tohugh, just something i think sony would have done to save some money
ps3 games are blu ray disks, so thats a no go
indeed they are , but do you think the U.S airforce need those ps3's to play video games? i dont think so, it makes sense to not have a blu ray drive if they dont really need it
It said in the article that there gonna be playing 2000 games of GOW3 at the same time so they'd have to have there BD drives left in…

MemberI really have to stop coming on this when I'm tired… I thought this was a thread for BC2, and if there's a similar trophy to the first game… Can't be bothered playing the old one when the new is just round the corner… Add me if you want for BC2 MP…
I clearly don't boost as anyone could tell from my trophy collection, and shame on those who do…
Doc-B
MemberI agree with what your saying Mojo, a trophy should be about your own personal ability and you should put in the effort to get the glory but forgive me my sin's that i would do something like this… And a forum is for discussion, on what sometime can be a difference of opinion…
Will i go all out and sit for hours and boost only with the goal of getting such a trophy, no… Will I, if given the opportunity to have a couple of games with people i know that to me to get towards my goal, yes… I might not be the best but i think I'm not bad, I'll be playing the game just like everyone else for a long time before i even think about trying to boost…
If you like, this is just another way to apply our thinking on how to beat the game – boost. However much you, i, or anyone feels about it… You'll know yourself the people who have done it of there own merit and believe how you will other people who say they have… I applaud those who will have the time, patience and skill to achieve the trophy off there own back, if said trophy will even be included in the new game… I prob won't get it even with trying to boost… I would boost if it was my last trophy for example… Why would i do it? To get that coveted Plat. of course, however wrong it feels, lol…

MemberI would normally agree with you Mojo… I'm all against boosting generally but if there's a trophy for getting one of every award like the last game – I am bad company – then bring it on… I have many other games to play and can't be assed to sit every night and grind away at one game for months just to get a virtual prize of no real value…
Grindfest = Fail
And if anyone i know on my friends list ever asked about it would tell them i boosted the trophy, to anyone else it shouldn't really matter? This would if it happens, be the first and prob only trophy i would ever boost…

MemberSame here… Back in the good old days of 2009 I'd do the same as most posts above. The same as the Ps2, that's just the way it was done. Going through a game on easy for me takes some of the joy out of it… Playing a game easy through to hard takes the buzz out, all the standout moments you were like “WOW, that was some cool sh!t” are skipped through with out due care… “Bigger” moments in a game are only made “even bigger” when you really have to move and think quick or die… over and over again… It might sound stupid but i get a little “rush” from beating parts of a game that are punishing me… Fresh punishment, not just a scene you re-hearsed earlier, a little harder… Knowing how to beat hard a boss, by beating them on easy first… In my opinion alone, so don't get on my back… IS WEAK…
For example – Dead Space was a more exciting experience for me, knowing that i could get killed if i didn't apply enough skill and watch what i was doing at all times… Jumping at every little noise… Taking it to the limit, lol..
In 2010 though I'm gonna try and push myself more and play most (there's the fallback word, lol) games i buy on hard mode from the off, then harder if there is or easy for the collectibles… I don't ever seem to really struggle through the normal modes so why not eh? Each to there own and casual gaming's cool if that's your thing… But I'm up for the challenge, ready to bring the skills needed… Playing a game on easy straight outta the box is NEVER an option for me…

MemberIt def was on the disc i'm thinking because there are part's still blocked off in Venice even when you've completed the game… If you read my earlier post i go over the fact that it was cut…
This better not be a newer-new trend newer than the new trend of pumping MP into games…

MemberI thought everything realesed after the end of last year, execpt the minis collection, was getting trophy support??
So not only have they (ubisoft) sold you something that should have been included in the game in the first place… They haven't even bothered to patch it with trophies… Lazy Lazy Lazy!
Everything about this DLC is sucky!!

MemberThe fully translated poem is about the best thing on the disc, other than the game that is…
This will be GOW3 for the x-box, i think the extra stuff is to try and sway people who have decided only to bug GOW… Don't think it'll work though…
