Well what the actual fcuk
Is this the result of patch 1.02? Or is it MP 'maintenance' due to the modded lobby reports… They could have least announced it… Can't even seem to get on the Social Club page so I'm guessing it's an internal thing…
I'm not alone though so i hope they fix this soon… Like NOW, GOD DAMMIT!!

The 'Fortune Hunter Club' is still £19.99… For pretty much the exact same content as Rock* are offering… People seem happy with that?? And prop's to Rock* for, from what I've seen so far, staying off the 'Network pass' bandwagon…
I enjoyed the Uncharted MP even though I only borrowed it from a friend and bought the Network Pass for the Plat…. And from what I've seen the MP looks a lot like Uncharted?? So if I'm gonna play the MP it makes sense to save on the maps… Even if it is till the end of 2012… Having one good MP (I hope) is more than enough for me TBH… Rock* are pretty good with third person games, this is gonna pull the Rock*, Max Payne, Uncharted(?) and general 'shooter'(?) crowd, so the MP should be well populated? I'm beasting it till i get the 'Bullet Time' perk
'Gang Wars' is looking good… Fingers crossed for this one…
(Yes, I am pretty much directly comparing this to the Uncharted MP… Although IMO I think I'll enjoy Max Payne3 more)

One think I'm confused about it the 'Cemetery DLC'… It's a map, but if it's not included in the Season Pass, it must be on the disc… And that would mean, just like the other pre-order DLC's offered, it's only an 'instant access' code…
So…
Does the SP unlock some of the MP or what… I'm confused…
I'm looking forward to this game so much I might just go make a 'Crew Emblem' right now!

MemberYou still get the four MP modes straight of the disc… I know it was wrongly reported by a couple of sites that the first DLC had three game modes with it but it was a mistake
The only thing the DLC will give you is maps, skins and challenges… You get deathmatch, Team Deathatch, Payne killer and Gang wars on disc… The Only MP Mode DLC is the 'New York minute co-op'… So it's all good

What's the “wait five hours” method? Is it just camping at a box?
Four from one playthrough is very good… Seems they fixed the drop rate or your just pretty lucky
You might get the fifth when you play the beginning with the other 3 char.?
It's not just waiting at any box… There's a particular box and method but it really is a 'last option' option… And it's pre-patch…
If you're really stuck let me know and I'll try and find it…

Think I'm gonna go for this…
The main game's looking good, and I'm really looking forward to shooting people through the neck whilst jumping backwards in slow motion
And it looks like it'll be a min 3-4 playthrough with the diff. difficulty trophies… So I'll have it a while anyway
I just hope the SP story is a decent length
Doc-B
MemberThat being said… First time I ever heard about this game was when Bethesda mentioned a 'special reveal' last month, with myself and half the Internet thinking it was going to be some Skyrim DLC information…
Next thing I hear is that the game is coming out in October… I though this was gonna be have a summer 2013 launch if not later
Looks interesting, just hope they give it enough time in development… Bethesda don't have the best reputation when it's comes to the Ps3, so they need to make sure this is problem free from the get-go
Doc-B
MemberThat was my last trophy for the Plat.
I'm not sure if they fixed the drops with a patch… But I ended up using the 'Wait 5 hours' method, as over all my playthroughs and hours spent playing I only ever found 4…
Will you be playing the arena DLC as I could use a hand with some of the trophies??

Everyone forgotten about the 'Fortune Hunters Club' for Uncharted? I don't think it was as expensive but still? Would you buy a Special edition for £60 if it had the maps/skins/challenges/boosters as the SE content? I remember a Tiger Woods had £100+ worth of DLC available at launch one year…
I've read it's a 35% saving overall, and I'm not sure SP DLC would work for a game like this?? If the MP proves popular, as I hope that it does… Then supporting it with maps might not be the worst thing? It looks to be a reasonable amount of DLC on offer if your looking to keep the game and play the MP…
The MP modes look alright… And if it does play like Uncharted 'gang wars', or whatever it's called, looks like it could be pretty sweet? You do get 'skins' and 'challenges' along with the map packs
It just does seem a lot of money for something that's not even finished yet…

MemberI got the 'season pass' for this… In for a penny, in for a pound I guess?
This is my first encounter with 'The Walking Dead'… Never heard of it at all, is that bad
And I've not played BTTF so I've no comparisons of the two, but I thought it was pretty good? It's nice to relax with something interactive other than a game, but that's still engaging enough not to bore… Something to chill with… And it seems some of the choices do offer real replay, or another cut scene value at least? Or one other play to see the flip-side of your first decisions
A concept level version of Heavy Rain… It's obviously is nothing like Heavy Rain, but the concept ideas are there… Super concept
There is most likely a far simpler comparison, but this is the first game of this style I've played

Some might say it's not worth the £20 as there's not really that much 'gameplay'… It's more the story that's the drive? I did like the 'Next week on…' part at the end, and i don't want to fill the thread with spoilers but I was speaking to my mate at work about it and it's interesting to hear what people chose to do there first time round… It did feel like a T.v episode, to me anyway
Just don't expect to much of a 'game' as such…
EDIT – It'll also be interesting to see if the decisions you initially make actually matter at all in the later episodes?
Doc-B
MemberYou know, as long as the game is as massive and epic as Gearbox say it is… Then i'm actually already looking forward to DLC for this
—
The DLC content for the first game, with the exception of the moxxi DLC(?), was of standout quality for me… And besides the odd bit of lag, minor glitches and a major bug that could mess with your quest-log the game was a darkhorse winner, even shocked Gearbox a little I bet?
Amazing, and it's fair to say I was pretty sceptical about the graphic style to start with… But the weapon variation, RPG elements and MP system are what hooked me… I'm still stumped as to why some other games haven't adopted the same systemThat being said I do feel sorry for anyone playing it offline
2nd playthrough 4 person online MP is where it's at!!!
