Doctor_RockMember
Haven't Heavy Rain and Red Dead Redemption been pushed back as well?
Doctor_RockMemberI'm going to join in on the Rock Band love. So much fun making a character and playing around with your friends.
Also, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift has won a new place in our gaming hearts too.
Doctor_RockMemberTom Clancy has a tank in his front garden lol
A Gundam would be much nicer đ
Doctor_RockMemberTotally! Imagine how tough the training must be though?
Surely just put it on autopilot and take all the glory
Doctor_RockMemberKind of, Kent Brockman on The Simpsons says something among the lines of 'I for one welcome our new [insert new rulers here].' It's like an internet thing now. That's not to say that I don't welcome them of course!
Evidently, they say it's like a month only thing to celebrate the 30th year anniversary of Gundam. I really hope they keep it up though! Have you seen the pics of it at night? http://gizmodo.com/5289548/act…..utely-zomg
Anybody else kinda hoping the same team can make a fully sized Optimus Prime and Megatron fully working and fight each other? That would rule!
Also, in that last vid when he looks to the sky doesn't it look like he's about to take off?
Doctor_RockMemberThen you sir have an awesome lady
There's a kick ass Boston pack and Don't Stop Believin' by Journey are all available as DLC too.
Doctor_RockMemberGlad we could help đ
Also, forgot to mention this earlier. emdeepee, your son's 8 and he likes classic rock? He's probably the coolest 8 year old I know of lol
Doctor_RockMemberI tend to look amongst the two as this.
Rock Band: Fun uncle that lets you get away with murder
Guitar Hero: Serious Dad who insists you work hard.
I own both games and I play Rock Band a heap more. I only bought GH: WT for GH: Metallica… So yeah there you go. On terms of DLC, Rock Band's DLC is universal while Guitar Hero's is locked to that one game.Â
Doctor_RockMemberI know right? 'Make sure you develop it for 5 games or we'll stop it from being released!'
Doctor_RockMemberBecause they realise how good the game's going to be and don't want to be the ones who let it go.
After doing some digging I found the official reason:
'The whole Activision-Double Fine-EA fiasco just keeps getting uglier and uglier, and now Activision has made good on its promise to block the sale of Brutal Legend unless it gets paid or publishes the game itself.
According to the Associated Press, Activision filed papers with the district of Santa Monica, California yesterday, claiming that Double Fine transferred rights owned by the company to EA after it had already invested $15 million in the project.
Activision claims it still has a valid contract to release the game.
This is despite the fact the game was dropped along with Ghostbusters and Assault on Dark Athena back during the Vivendi merger, which CEO Bobby Kotick said was because none had âthe potential to be exploited every year on every platform.â'
So there you go…
GO TO HELL ACTIVISION!
Doctor_RockMemberAgreed, Activision just seem to be jerks. They're trying to get Brutal Legend canned too, since they owned the original rights. They said something about them being promised an IP but then sold it off to EA. WTF?
Doctor_RockMemberI'm with you Miiiitch, hated the demo. I picked up FNR 3 for dirt cheap and I'm playing that instead. Still loving UFC too
Doctor_RockMemberAvatar: 6/10 Much more of a dog person
Sig: 8/10: I love The Simpsons, but Futurama's better
Doctor_RockMemberI don't know, I think Sony may drop the price about ÂŁ50 or so… But with some of the great exclusives coming out this year if I didn't already own one I would be buying one!
Doctor_RockMemberI'm on the 'iNfamous is better' band wagon too. The imagery is crisper and a lot more fun. Prototype got dull after a while, still going to complete it though.
