when you buy a game or dlc from an alternative region(EU) compared to your main one(CAN), you will be able to play the games on both accounts but you will not be able to gain any trophies when connected to the Canadian PSN.

When i play a game over in Ireland and it gets a trophy patch or registers a trophy won, it comes from PSN EU. When you get a trophy patch you connect to the Canadian/US PSN. As there is no trophies available in your region it would not be possible to access the trophies on that PSN server as the trophies are not there. That is my opinion anyway, i cannot see how they would do it any differently tbh.

I would be willing to buy you a PSN card in exchange for monies paid into my Paypal account but it would have to be euro's as i live in Ireland.

I loved the demo and have the game but haven't played it yet looks pretty class though.

Thanks guys hope it is not made to sound over complicated because it isn't. A very do-able job that can save your game saves (most important!) and money

Apologies for the lack of images i am going to PM PS3Trophies and ask him to try and display them for me, for whatever reason i cannot get the plugins to work!

The above tutorial is based on the 40 GB model, the 60 GB model was not documented photographically when it was being performed but i can assure you that it does work! The changes required for the 60GB repair are outlined at the base of the tutorial

Man that is pretty tough i would say if anyone here was nearby they would be willin to help you out. Hopefully you will be back to normality soon! My 2010 was ok(still job hunting 🙁 no health problems so far ! ) so far – it will be better if i get that job in HP, fingers crossed! I don’t now where you are but here in Ireland there pretty poor with the Health Service, I think most countries are in a similar situation with the recession. You have my thoughts dude 🙁

Finally got my flash files to work from my site! Had difficulty contacting my webhosts to edit my MIME configuration to add .f4v and .flv filetypes, got there in the end though.

It is very easy to fix though, once you know how and take your time! I am editing a new thread to include this video link and written tutorials for both 40Gb and orig 60GB model PS3's.

Hi all i have just finished editing the video for how to fix a PS3 YLOD yourself. I will have it uploaded later documentation will follow tomorrow. It is a 40 GB model in the video but the repair process is the same, just differing in dismantling the conmsole with the 60 GB.

You could have this fixed from as little as $30, so dont throw it away just yet!

This would be something admin will have to decide on not us! Good idea though, but it will have to be hosted by APT, maybe they should have a competition paypal account and keep 50% of the proceeds and split the rest out amongst the winners if they decided to host it and make everyone put in £/$/E 1.00 for the entry! It could work and they would finally get paid too!!
