I just tried the resetting video on my PS3 there and it took me a few goes to get it right. I presume your model is either the 60GB or the 40GB console. The steps for resetting are as follows:
1. Turn off from the back
2. Turn on from the back
3. Press and hold the on button at the front until it turns itself on and then back off again (3 beeps and then 1 beep before it goes back off)
4. Power off from the back
5. Power on from the back
6. Turn on from the front
This should display the video settings screen with your HDMI for definite. Try inserting a Blank DVD in the drive when in standby mode and see if it will power on the console from stand by mode and allow you to eject it again. When you put the console back together did you make sure to reconnect all ribbon cables?

Try using the original cable (scart) that came with the PS3 and check the source channels on your tv for a picture

Thanks Shadiest187 its appreciated! I will talk to everyone when we have the numbers and try and arrange a good time to suit everyone. Most ppl are off the weekends so it could be around then but we will see! Only on APT could this be possible!

Hey guys i wanted to bring this topic back to life without starting a new topic titled 'FIFA 10 Team Player Trophy'. I have tried repeatedly online to get a team of 10 players on my side and have managed to start a game with 10 players on the pitch with me but it always ends up with 5 players or so after about 2 mins. So I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.

I think we need 11 players to start a Pro Club Championship Match (10 on one side 1 on the other
), so i was thinking if anyone would be willing to help can you write your PSN here and i can arrange a time that suits us all soon after we get the team finalized ! I know it can be tedious enough helping someone else with there trophies but i would really appreciate it This is my last online trophy (1 offline trophy Time For a Testimonial left!) and for you to get this trophy you will need to have a virtual pro created 😛 Thanks guys hope to hear from someone

Its kinda silly how a basic topic can turn into an argument. I only posted this topic to see if there is a link to a rules section and there isn't so it should really be a dead topic! Lets cut the BS and stop posting each other and then it is finished – no more arguments!

It could also be your BBand connection. Check to make sure you have NAT 2 connectivity and not NAT 3. If you have a NAT 3 i would recommend a faster router as it would improve your MP experience. Also check to make sure the PS3 is not excessively hot as it could also be a HW issue

very nice system (ridiculously good RAM!)well worth the money i'd say! Have you tried OSX86 ? you could probs figure it out fairly easily, its a nice OS not as good as genuine Mac OS but good fun when you get it installed!
