Guys, sony are out there to make money. If this idea was implemented, then instead of lets say 3 people buying it, one person would buy it and the 2 others would get it free, meaning instead of Sony earning lets say £30 for some £10 DLC, they'd only earn £10. And I don't even think sony support game sharing.
then they shouldnt have made it possible to download stuff to different ps3s from one account.
Atomic was saying that if sony DID support game sharing, then they could have implemented safer ways of doing it. I agreed that it would be cool. However, it was just a pipe dream lol. We know sony doesnt actually support game sharing. The reasons they give for you being able to DL content on multiple PS3's is for reasons such as: if your PS3 breaks down; if you purchase a new PS3; or for games like Warhawk and Socom… in situations when normally you would have the game disc and could just bring it over to a friends house to play. It was intended for the use of the original purchaser only! They caution never to give out your password and to always delete your user off of your friends PS3's. But of course, whenever theres a way to exploit the system in order to save money.. it happens. haha

Alone in the Dark is a HORRIBLE trophy game. Yes most of the trophies are easy, but the gameplay and controls are God awful. I dont think ill try for the plat. Idk.
I heard the same thing from everyone I have talked to… the controls/gameplay are frustratingly awful while the platinum is fairly easy to achieve. After playing the demo and managing to easily get a car (and my character) trapped in one of those infinite falling animations beneath the map… I quickly set aside any thoughts I once had about even renting this game. lol
gamer47MemberGOD OF WAR III!!!!
For those who have yet to get into the series… do yourself a favour and play these games! They are AWESOME!

It has to be ” Linger in the Shadows”
I beg to differ.. as far as a trphy 'whore' is concerned, it's easy silvers.
I also loved the content of that particular title and enjoyed it very much.
I agree with you ShadeBlack. It was well thought out interactive art that provided quite a different experience from any other DLC to date. The trophies were simply a thoughtful bonus. Linger in Shadows is beautiful.
gamer47MemberAre you using Windows XP or Windows Vista? They each have slightly varying processes. If you are trying to convert from NTFS to FAT32 – without the use of 3rd party programs – I don't think it can be done unless you reformat the hard drive and then partition it. This will erase all data so be sure to back up anything valuable beforehand. Also keep in mind FAT32 has size limitations. Each FAT32 partition can only be a max of 32GB, and you cannot store any file larger than 4GB.
_________________________________________________________
If once you have formatted the drive to FAT32 (or FAT16) you would like to format it back to NTFS for more secure use on your PC this is what you would do via Windows XP:
1. Open a command prompt.
Here are 2 ways to do this:
– Start > Run > type in “cmd”
– Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt
2. In the command prompt type the following (drive letter is the drive that you want to convert):
convert drive letter: /fs:ntfs
for example: convert g: /fs:ntfs
3. You will then receive a message like this:
” The type of file system is FAT.
Enter the current volume label for drive drive letter “
You then need to type in the volume label for the drive and press Enter.
4. Once the conversion is complete you will receive a message saying:
“Conversion Complete”
At that point you know you have successfully converted your drive from FAT32/FAT16 to NTFS and can now close the command prompt.

its usefully yea but i dont think sony havereally thought it 100% through i think you should be able to go in store press triangle on the thing you want to share then option comes up to share you cick it then it asks for th players psn n then it shared instead of giving away your acc details to a stragner you assume you can trust
That's actually a really cool idea. I don't think Sony would implement it though because technically the way it's all been set up isn't for the purpose of game trading. It's just if you have bought content and your system breaks down or you have multiple systems, they want the purchaser of the content to be able to access what they bought…. which is fair enough. Could you imagine buying something and only being able to DL it once then losing it? That would suck. If they promoted game trading, they would lose money… which I doubt they'd want to do anytime soon. I still wish they would implement something like what you mentioned above, sounds awesome.

its really user friendly
yeah, it so easy to use, and it only takes a few clicks to get where you want
there is also a strong community
agreed.
even the controversial disagreements that do happen on here are tolerable because everyone for the most part gets along when its all over. And well… arguments are funny.

Apparently they're releasing it early so they don't have to compete as much with Prototype which is coming out in June.
This game looks great though…can't wait to get it!
That would make alot of sense from a marketing standpoint.
I can't wait for Prototype! Infamous looks promising too though 🙂
gamer47Memberlol I think game sharing is actually pretty useful and saves everyone involved money on DLC. While I agree you should be careful of who you give your account info to I must laugh at the personal attacks made against SketchyMidnight. Those who don't want to trade, good on you. You don't have to attack an individual's character based on a simple offer with the assumption that he's some evil PSN ID hacker. hahaha.
gamer47MemberI don't think it kills AC2 before it even begins. As Doctor_Rock stated, it's fun to speculate. It would kill the game if we were convinced that everything we have discussed in this thread will absolutely 100% appear in AC2 and then have it not appear anywhere. That would be a huge disappointment obviously. But that's also not the case.
Keep the interesting discussion going guys! 🙂
gamer47MemberI'm down for this… if you still need help that is! If not, congrats on the trophy!
gamer47MemberI think, as was said before… if you REALLY dedicate yourself.. platinum is doable. after a really really really long time lol. but its a super boring journey imo.
if you want a quick platinum, this isn't it. if, on the other hand, you don't care for the platinum and you want something new to play, then try it out.
gamer47MemberI was super intimidated by the SOCOM trophies when the list first came out… but then I actually started playing the game on ranked modes. While the trophies are not particularly hard, they are time consuming. The game gets pretty addicting though so it's not too bad. I plan on getting back to it after I finish UT3. I'm currently at 13% trophy completion on socom… long way to go lol.
gamer47Member– Crash Commando is fun and easy (although can be time consuming)
– I haven't played Worms very much but from what I played it was fairly challenging
– Wheel of Fortune is easy but time consuming (all trophies can be achieved through regular gameplays)
– Burn Zombie Burn is alot of fun and is a challenge… not sure how difficult it is to get trophies as I haven't played it enough
– Pixeljunk Eden I find very interesting but struggle with the trophies
– Novastrike is another one of those seemingly impossible games… so if you are making a purchase just for the trophies, avoid this one.
Also, if you don't care to buy a game, you can buy Linger In Shadows. It is more so interactive art than it is an actual game. It's pretty interesting and has super attainable trophies.
Another alternative would be to download Mainichi Issho from the JPN PSN store. It is a free news broadcasting “game” and has 7 trophies available.
If you need anymore detailed information on the above games, just let me know. Hope this helped and good luck on your purchase!

godfather 2 th easiest plat ever! just got it after 3 days of play. farcry2 is just pointless. i got bored after the first 30 mins. online is awesome but the servers suk ass. id say its by far the hardest because its boring.
i was expecting lion attacks, n wat do i get, zebra tht run into th jeep n blow my cover. true representation of Xbox 360 games > A.S.S=Astonishingly Stupid & Sucky.
LOL! ^^
I would have to agree that FC2 is boring. It's super time consuming (just like GTA4) the only difference is that GTA4 was actually fun. I put in the time/effort for GTA but cannot see myself doing the same for FC2. Trophies or not, the game just doesn't interest me enough.. and this is coming from a trophy addicted completionist. I dread even thinking about playing single player for the trophies, nevermind the ridiculous feats asked of multiplayer trophies.
