Hello! You're the second guy this week I believe to make a thread announcing their arrival!
It's good, means we've started attracting people who want to join the community rather than troll the hell out of us!
Nice to meet you Jay, enjoy APT. It's brilliant here!
Just one question, where abouts in the world are you from? We've got people from all over the world here, Brits, Greeks, Checks, Canadians, Trolls from the depths of hell and even a guy from Mars. So you can't scare us
…o…..k….

Spain vs. Portugal was such a disappointing game..
SO BORING!!
I was expecting it to be a freaking classic, epic game, but it was just garbage playing by both teams imo. Sure, Daivd Villa can shoot well, but that game was so terrible to watch for me.
I need more games like England vs. Germany.. with tons of excitement and great football playing.
I expect Brazil and Nederlands to be a good game, as well with Germany and Argentina.
Brazil vs Germany final FTW lol
i thought it was an alright game. i wish ronaldo was in the game more though, he just hasnt showed his full potential like most world class players. david villa is brilliant, suspicions of the goal being offside but great play by spain and well deserved. i dunno how busquets was playing over fabregas and david silva though…
ahh i guess everyone is taking my world cup final prediction , on a sidenote CMON ANDY MURRAY!
I know he isn't even that gd

The commentators and fans are looking down at the pitch. They can see the line painted on the ground. The guys in the English dugout would have claimed it was a goal regardless of where it hit. If it lands close to the line at all then they’ll shout goal.
Most people watching it on TV couldn’t have been definite of where it landed until they saw the replay and once it was confirmed for them, then they decide they were sure all along.
Refs get fooled by players diving in almost every match played. Is it so hard to believe that a single bounce of a ball fooled them as well? A quick glance to check if there was anyone offside when Lampard kicked the ball is all it would take to miss it.
well evry 1 in my house knew it was in without a replay & the players knew and they’re all honest
Gashead-64Memberavailable to buy now, sum1 on my friends list already has it. A 3D yellow + is now next to him lol

It seems to be a really blatant blunder on the ref's part but all of the angles we've seen are from above or right beside the goal. It's a damn sight harder to judge depth when you're on a level with the ball and you can't see the line. If they actually showed the goal from the ref's point of view then I think it'd put a different slant on the problem.
The ball made a single high-speed bounce. It didn't give the officials much chance. The England players and Cappello would have run around cheering regardless of whether it went in or not. If it's even close then they're going to claim it and try to sway the ref.
All the fans knew it was in, the ppl in the dugouts, and the commentators knew it was in 2, it was just the officials that didn't.

Bye Bye England!
That English side didn't deserve to make it beyond the group stages and Germany showed them why. I'm glad the game ended up 4-1. If it had stayed at 2-1 then we would have had weeks of the tabloids whining about it. “Robbed” being a favourite/predictable headline.
Not that I mean that as a dig at the English, I'm sh*t sick of listening to the Irish whinge about the 'Hand of Frog'. You'd think we'd have taken a dose of reality instead of embarrassing ourselves on a national stage. “Can we be the 33rd team?” “Eh… no, fcuk off”
Well, i still blame disallowed goal cuz it wud have been 2-2, ang Ger's 3rd & 4th gols were on the counter attack whilst all but 1 or 2 of Eng's players were up the field
