Got the 100% in Thomas was Alone and I've started back into Ni No Kuni. Had a decent couple of days and I've managed to up my familiar count to 124. All but half way!

I'm about 30 hours into Ni No Kuni, really enjoying the game but I'm dreading the crazy grind at the end. I've been capturing familiars as I go along and I'm up to about 85 out of the 250 I need for the trophy. But there are quite a few items needed for various missions/alchemy formulas that rely on random drops and that's always a complete shite to do.

I also started Thomas Was Alone on the Vita. Nothig amazing but grand for passing time on the bus.

Also, on the topic of the Vita, Ecolibrium can kiss my ass. I waited nearly six weeks for an online challenge to roll around and then when it does they only give one poxy day's notice. The previous one had a week's notice! I was away at my father's and didn't get a chance to chck so I missed the start. Fcuking balls!

Okay, so in my brief absence this topic has died a bit of a death.

So time for a kick in the arse!!!

There's no football on this week so I am free every evening! Anyone interested state it here and we'll do this thing. If you're not in then we'll make up the numbers with dud accounts but it's wasted XP. I'll message you all on PSN tomorrow (Tuesday) evening and see what's what. I'm off work Wednesday and Thursday so a late night Wednesday suits me but it mightn't suit everyone. kris will be fine too as he's only got being unemployed on Thursday and he doesn't need to be up early for that.

Christ! Feels like an age since I've been on!

I haven't been gaming much lately as I've been bitten by the reading bug again. And there seems to have been a tonne of football on.

But the PS3 got some much deserved attention over the last few days and I started off by grabbing a few more of the challenges in BO2 (I can never seem to play for more than an hour without getting bored) and then I started the excellent Ni No Kuni.

But yesterday and today have been dedicated to the truly awesome Farcry 3: Blood Dragon. Easily one of the best DLCs I've ever played. Took me about 10 hours to 100% and for €12 that's a bargain.

No worries Scotty, cheers for the heads-up anyway.

So that makes us a group of five (Myself, Kriggs, gr8jrfan, Doc-b and emdeepee). That's fine as I have spare copies and can fill up the vacant spot.

How are we all fixed for starting? The Manchester derby is on tomorrow evening and there's Champions League on Tue/Wed so how do we all feel about Thursday evening? Is that okay or would anyone need us to wait until the weekend?

Did we always have that dashboard at the top of the site?! Is it an automatic update or is admin actually making changes?!

Spent the weekend battling through Bioshock with Kristoff. Not as bad as I had first feared but the continuous hacking started to wear on my nerves towards the end. We were going for the plat in a single playthrough so there was some nervous moments as we checked the tonic/audio diary lists in Point Prometheus. And I only managed to get 'Avid Inventor' on my way to the end boss.

I'm, sure you guys don't need to be told but anyone going for this should definitely use the “Save every ten yards” method we all perfected playing the Fallout games.

Going for the challenges. I have 9/10 on Shipwreck and the Tactical one is the one I need. I also still have 9/10 on Old Wounds and I've no idea what I'm doing wrong with those poxy choppers.

Welcome to the site Frederick, not often we see a new face around here.

Does anyone have any tips on the Strike Force missions for BO2? I'm having quite a bit of trouble with the tactical view challenges. I got the first one (barely) but I'm getting nowhere in Shipwreck. Even on 'Regular' difficulty my guys are retarded. I've yet to take an objective!

I may get swarmed the most often but you still take gold in the “Threw yourself to your own death at the bottom of an elevator shaft” category

If the next map has many instant death areas then your challenge is over before it even begins!!

I, myself, have been tackling some more of the challenges in BO2. I'm actually liking the Strike Force missions. The RTS side of it is lame but switching between units in FPS to grab the challenges is fun and the multiple replays aren't bothering me in the slightest.

And amazingly I'm still playing around with Ecolibrium. I've had the 100% for a good while now but I want to make a serious push for the top spot in the next online challenge. I've been calculating creature points and trying to come up with the highest point generating combination.

Also got Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm in the post today so I'll be assigning some time to that as well over the next while.

I have the DLC so I've no problem helping out with that.

A quick slightly off topic question: What's Bioshock 1 like to plat? I had the 1000g on the Xbox but the PS3 version added in a few extra trophies for completeing the game on hard without dying and on survival mode without dying. Are these head-wrecking?
