MemberSony are really throwing their weight behind this 3D bandwagon. I don't know who they're shipping all these TVs to because I don't know anyone buying them.
I was in an electrical shop today looking around and they had a 3D TV set up playing Monsters V Aliens. I hadn't seen anything in 3D yet so I gave it a go…
Serious disappointment…
The 3D did give depth to certain parts of the movie but the picture never focused properly. I felt like I was looking through a pair of binoculars, trying to get my eyes to settle.
I probably will eventually go 3D, but I'll be waiting for vast improvements in the technology and a sever rise in support. At the moment the prices are high while the quality is low.

MemberI couldn't care less if it's Cole or not. From what I played of the first game the guy wasn't really a character worth keeping. My main issue with the trailer is how singularly unimpressive it is.
The graphics and character movement look dated and the set design looks as bland as the first one.
I bought inFamous because of the hype surrounding it's release, played it for one day and it has gathered dust on my shelf ever since. Everything the game did was being done better by someone else.

MemberLooks like South Africa are on the way out. They haven't a hope of beating France (cough! Cheating Bast*rds! cough!) and it's likely they'll be the first nation ever to not make it to the knock-out stages of their own tournament. I'd feel sorry for them but I can't forgive them for introducing those retarded horns.
Spain were pathetic today. They have a team of mega-stars and they couldn't even hit the target half the time. I'd say the Swiss still can't believe they won.
Still, a celebration is called for. We had three games today and not a single draw!!

MemberI assume you're talking to Miiitch about the Happy Birthday problem? If so then I would imagine he didn't mention it because he got it on his first go and didn't realise there was a problem to be mentioned.
And the thread is only two pages long so it's not much of an effort to read the whole thing through.

MemberBah! Death to peripherals! Put the money into better games!

MemberI knew something was brewing…
Every time I saw you online you were in the track creation studio. You've spent quite a bit of time on this so I'm expecting it to be a beast!
I'll try it out after the Brazil game.

MemberI know what you mean. I love to bleed my ears to the nastiest stuff out there but I still crave variety and like to slow it down. It's one of the reasons I describe myself as an “extreme” metal fan. Extreme can describe anything from the straight forward bludgeoning side of things to the crazy experimental stuff.
'Weeping Willow' from the album Omnio by In the Woods…
Listening to it on the net after reading a review on MetalIreland.com. One track in and I had the album ordered on Amazon.

MemberIt was a draw. NZ got an equaliser in the 92nd minute.

MemberA bit of a blitzkrieg there. Unlucky about your fiver there Monkey.
Have to say that I think that was far and away the bast game so far. Germany are the first country to go out and play like a professional team. They made Australia look pedestrian.
I have to admit that I was pretty disgusted with a lot of the Australian conduct. They threw a ridiculous amount of elbows and knees in tackles, that chap Neill being a complete scumbag.
Not only that, but they were the first team that I've seen give serious grief to the ref. Everybody loses the head a bit but some of the Aussies were screaming at him.
The red card will raise a few questions and I think it might have been on the harsh side of things but as they well deserved to have a player sent off I'll just write it off as karma.

MemberThe US got 3 yellow cards as well. Mind you, I don't think I'd dispute any of them, or any of the ref's decision for that matter. So far the refereeing has been of a pretty high standard. It makes a nice change from the Prem. League where every match had disputes and blatant mistakes.
Man, what game were you watching? England were dire! There was no structure to heir field play and their set pieces were mingin'. After the goal I can't remember a single corner that turned into anything productive or provided a chance on goal.
I773D33MABL3
MemberWell England might as well get on the bus home now. That was a horror show.
The early Milner and King subs give the impression that even Cappello is questioning his own team selection.
I can't wait to read the tabloids tomorrow!

MemberI played the new version of the track and it was a much smoother ride. The brightness made a world of difference.
Everything else also worked fine. The track is nicely thought out, there's no dead zones of meandering road. Every segment feels like it was designed and planned differently.

MemberFirst day and two draws. The France V Uruguay game was a bit disappointing. Whether they're on form or not, the French team have a wealth of tallent and should be able to convert at least one chance.
The last ten minutes was just a slog of France getting to the box, making an arse of it and Uruguay kicking it up to the French keeper so he could kick it to his mid-field and start again…
