MemberThat trophy seems to be slightly glitchy. I was pelting rocks for the whole game yet only got it well into the second island.

Anyways, in an effort to give people more notice this time, how would next Saturday work? That's 16/2/13 or 2/16/13 for our friends across the water. It'd ideally start around 19:00 GMT.
MemberI have to agree with emdeepee that a launch date for the end of this year woyld be very strange. October/November is typically the busiest period of the year for AAA releases and Sony aren't going to want to hamper those sales. Nor would any publishers want to release games for a console that's going to become old news in the same month.
Likewise, I'd be stunned if GTA V was announced as cross-platform. Sony will want a launch line-up of titles that will have PS4 snatched up. No-ones going to fork out on a next-gen console to play a game that'll run on their existing hardware.
I'd hazard a guess that we'll see another Q1 launch. It's the second busiest time of the year for big releases and I'd expect them to want most of those as launch titles. Maybe we'll finally see 'The Last Guardian'…
And I think Doc is right about the pricing. The price tag on PS3 hampered it on launch and they cut it as soon as possible.
MemberOkay, so this seems to have fallen by the wayside. We all seem to be running off to our next boost but we haven't finished this one.
Would this Saturday night (2/2/13) suit everyone again? The first priority is getting emdeepee Fire Controller and then those of us that are still grinding can just squad up and play for XP.
Anyone/Everyone okay with that?

MemberI watched The King's Speech tonight. I'd been avoiding it for a while as I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it but it entertained me throughout.

MemberManaged to grab the Red River plat today, got a few challenges done in Ecolibrium and with some help from Kristoff (Last two snap and slide puzzles) I got the 100% in Welcome Party on the Vita.
MemberArmageddon is absolute piss to plat. The MP can be done in one sitting. Myself and kris laughed our way through rounds 1-30. Getting to round 10 without anyone bleeding out will be doable while sleeping!
MemberMyself and Kris were actually looking through our trophy lists earlier for games we'd like to boost and GRFS was definitely top of the pile. I have all of the SP done but I've barely touched the MP and I have none of the DLCs.
I know the co-op stuff is 4 pax but if we were to try and boost the competetive online then we have a few people. Both myself and VaeVictas have copies and Kris is picking it up. Across the water Nathan has it and if Denzel grabs a copy then we're up to five. And there's the added bonus of being able to play more than one poxy game of a single router so I can borrow them off mates as well and stack up.
As for BFBC, it's a serious undertaking. VaeVictas got the plat without boosting but that took ages, the awards are a nightmare. each of them practically requires a boost of it's own.
MemberDo you mean Bad Company 1? That is a serious undertaking and the learning curve is crazy. All you need is one good chopper pilot in the room and it's boost over. It depends on what sort of state the servers are in. If you can nab an empty one then you're sweet but I don't know how many people are still playing.
MemberOkay, nathan's out until Thursday at least. We need all six so it'll have to be after that. And VaeVictas is back to college on Monday so between Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, what suits everybody best? I can do any of them and Kris should be good too.
