Alone in the dark gets terrible reviews but is aparantly one of the easiest games to get trophies in. and can aparantly be done in less than one night.

I'd say the worst game to have trophies isn't in fact a single game, but a whole genre of games. Sports games. In my opinion, and not many will agree, but sports games are the worst games not only to have trophies, but are also the worst genre of games overall. they're boring, repetitive, unimaginative, and consist of you performing tedial tasks without fail. I ignore them all.

Furthermore, before someone says it, because i know SoMeOnE will, Racing games, though technically are considered a sports game, does not fall into my definition or genre of sports games. I see racing games completely different to sports.

Only sports game i have is Fifa 10, and i can confirm that the trophies suck and that the gameplay is ALWAYS the same, yes they make a hundred different modes to make it 'attractive' but in all those hundred modes you always do the same thing, playing matches.. I wish i didn't spend 64€ on that game, but I have platina on it now and it feels pretty good lol, but other then that i really wouldn't recommend it to anyone other then a die-hard fifa/football fan..

I can pay for it aswell, but i simply don't want to, i liek it the way it is now, they keep improving and improving when nobody is asking for them to and then they start charging EVERYONE for something NOBODY wants..

If you work for your own money, you definately don't accept this, if mommie is paying for it, well.. what would you care then? (I don't mean you in person lol)

If this really does happen, i strongly encourage everyone to just turn off your PS3 and keep it off for atleast 2 weeks, if this would be done world-wide, i think Sony would really get the message then, reason i bought PS3, it's free after you buy it!! and also since i've always played PS, never Xbox (first Xbox controller had the same friggin size of a PS2 and had like a thousand buttons on it..)

Hannah Montana, Play a game with 4 friends = 4 controllers for crying out loud

I don't have the game, but this is the only thing that stops me from buying it (Only for a quick platina, in no way do i support miley cyrus in her 'Yaaay-being'!!!)

I agree completly with you. Why killing the The Amsel with a pistol since killing himn with your sniper rifle is ten times easier

It's quite easy, if you kill all his guards and kill the driver of the car you shood be able to take him out, but i played W@W on the Wii, so i didn't bother killing him with a pistol since no one asked me to!! lol, but doesn't really look so hard to me.. but again, Wii & PS3 is a world of difference

Figured that out already lol.. It's weird you know, seeing so many players with level 10 while it's so hard to get, but then again, this game is out now for 3 years? or longer? But the scores the the top-players really bug me, i NEED to know how that happened lol, I won't make the fatal mistake by doing this all legit if it can be done faster (doesn't have to be a hack or cheat, just a faster way lol)

But then again, I would break my streak of 100% honest trophies lol

Well, you gotta be very lucky to have it within 9 games? And I don't really believe in that kind of luck..

They may be Rockstar developers testing stuff, or simply people who hacked the online database or something..

I did it in 25 Hours, but I watched all the cutscene's (my first time i played) but i used Taxi's to get anywhere i wanted, make sure you haul one when you enter a mission point, so it will still be there when you leave to go to your mission..

Got most of the trophies during the storyline, really isn't hard, but just don't do the pigeons, jumps, side missions, friendships and the no more strangers one..

I got a call for the final mission when doing the assassin's missions (thought they were needed for the story) finished all of them and then did the final mission…

Used no cheats at all, you can if you want, but for that session you won't be able to get certain trophies (no story trophies are affected by cheats), just save, restart and then a message will pop up saying 'trophies are available' so you can cheat all you want, but just not in the session where you want the get certain trophies (one man army, walk free, cleaning the mean streets & manhunt i think..)

The 'Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic' trophy was mentioned here, well, i have it, done it in multiple sittings and didn't have to retry one thing.. I don't think the races are the problem, people think they just have to win as cop and as crook in 'Cop's 'N Crooks' but they have to win as Cop & as Crook in BOTH Modes (All For One, One For All) I made sure i won as both in the same round so it wouldn't get messy..

But the 'Wanted' trophy is really pissing me off, get the highest possible rank in multiplayer..

I was level 4, wen't all the way to level 6 in a day, then the next day i find myself back at lvl 4, ok send a message to rockstar, no response, i started again, this time, all the way to level 7, next day, again at lvl 4, again a message, no response, started again, from level 4 to lvl 7 AGAIN the next friggin' day i was back at lvl 4.. Rockstar better be giving me this trophy now or i'll freaking go into their headquarters shoot everyone and then put a bullet in my head, a double F you at rockstar, they're all dead and it's been proven that violent games create violence!

Really annoying.. The only trophy that keeps me from getting platina, they might be doing it on purpose…

Ratchet is probably a prime example of why we have activists up in arms every time a mature video game is released. They're not paying enough attention to keep such things away from their children. Not that I care in the slightest that this 12 year old kid has played a game where you can kill a cop, steal his car, run people over on the side walk, pick up a hooker, bang her and pay her, get out and kill her to take your money back, and then continue your rampage. I did all this when I was 13 (wait what? GTA wasn't out yet! ohhhhh…. he means in real life…).

Vice city was my favorite. San Andreas was cool, I liked the gang wars for territory. GTA4 just didn't bring enough new stuff to the table for me, I kinda felt like I was just doing it all over again with better graphics. So I was never worried about when or if this DLC would ever make it to us…

Gonna buy this.. HAVE to buy this.. When i almost had Platina on GTA IV they added these trophies, who set me back to about 70%.. Really pissed me off, and the trophies look very easy, so might give it a try..

Same here, almost made the unforgiveable mistake by thinking it wasn't there and move on from my last feather, when running towards the next feather i needed to check i accidentally grabbed it and got the trophy lol.. But you really have to look very good and use eaglevision, it's easy to miss one, and try not to take any during the game..

Yeah, there's alot more but I can't remember all, if someone is stuck somewhere or needds tips on a certain mission or spec op, i'll probably remember it again and then post more..

Thanks for like it lol, but on YouTube there are practically video's for every single Special Op, wich show you how to do it as fast and effective as possible, really helpfull aswell..

Note: the ones you killed or were able to kill during the storyline do not count towards 100% in-game completion, also, the guy called Jeff doesn't count towards 100% either, but you have to meet him to get the trophy 'No More Strangers', but really, do his 3 missions, they're easy and sorta hilarious with the right amount of alchohol flowing through your vains xD

AWP is a very glitchy and buggy trophy, Congrats on getting it by the way. I tried for a few months to do it in multiple sessions until I had clocked up 5 wins on everything, so eventially I said screw it and did it in one session… … it didn't work, so in early June last year I started again and after a random Cannonball race *pop* Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic and my Platinum Trophy.

When writing the guide I decided to put in one way that I knew WOULD definately work. Rockstar I believe accidently duplicated some multiplayer accounts making it very difficult to do it in multiple sessions. So keep doing one session slogs and you WILL get it, but only do it in one session after you're sure that multiple sessions wont work.

BTW I can't believe I left out the thing about Cops 'N' Crooks that was one of the main problems for people. Well I can't do much about it as I can't edit the guide any more but thanks for pointing it out to me.

Sorry to hear that man, i probably wouldn't have retried if i wouldn't have gotten it.. All I have to do now is get to level 10 in multiplayer (sigh..) and the sexy platinum is mine! xD

Games:

Assassin's Creed II = Platinum, 100%

Modern Warfare 2 = Platinum, 100%

Need For Speed Shift = Platinum, 83% (damn DLC!)

GTA IV = 91% (just 1 more to go)

Fifa 10 = 67% (out of 83%) 5 more to go, 3 easy, 2 friggin' hard as hell..

About to buy Bad Company 2, The Godfather 2, HAWX and maybe Hannah Montana for some easy trophies lol
