lol, well i aint got 1 yet, but i think the main problem with the 60gb models is the unreliability,
I myself dont mistreat my consoles, and have got through 2 60gb consoles, whereas hearing of a 40gb/80gb console break is much rarer.
Altho i spose u cud argue that the slim may well have similair problems, they have only been out for a few months, so we havent seen the one thing sony cant properly test – long term reliability.
Anyways, for now im jus gon2 get a slim bundle from HMV, and get the 2 years extended warranty for £25 just incase

I'm pretty sure it doesnt add the kills 2 your killstreak, when i got my 1st, i got a nuke, called it in, then got another kill, checkd my K/S it said 26, which would suggest you die at the same time as killing, therefore doesnt add on
tbh, i rekn IW might just milk MW2 with all the DLC they can. U know like when W@W was given several map packs, probably just rushed due to the amount of glitches in them, i rekn come summer 2010, we will have a similair experiance. Not that i dont like having the extra DLC

thats the problem with all “fair” 1.v.1 matches, people will obviously be at different ranks, meaning different guns/better attachments, so for example if 1 player is rank 67 and plays on rust, they should by all right completley batter the opponent cos of the Model 1887s Also, u'd have 2 decide on what , if any, killstreak rewards you have, and make more rules like are noob tubes allowed, and then perhaps one player will be accused of their gameplay being camping. i never thouht quarry was tht bad, tbh i love ut wen u get an airstrike of sum sort on quarry, and dump it on the top corner with all the explosive barrels, every TDm either ur team or theirs has a few campers up there
I used 2 h8 wasteland, becoming more fond of it, always change my K/S to a sentry gun, and just stick it in the underground bit
only once , saw it, now am not 2 bothered, wud rather use my preferred Killstreaks –
- (7) Attack helicopter
- (9) Pave low
- (11) Chopper gunner
m8, had exactly the same problem, 2 days ago – posted a topic on here.
Basically,If ur out of warranty, unless u want 2 exchange ur unit 4 a new 1, along with £128,00 and get another refurbished 60/80 gb console, thn ur disk is stuck.
Force eject will work only if ur P/S is NOT a 60gb. mine is a 60 gb, and im gon2 have2 dismantle the console now, will post results l8r, (probs 2moz) and try 2 get disk out while not damaging it (my F***n MW2 in as well
) Phone Sony if u want2, but i expect u'll have the same result as me, 22 minute phone call – just 2 be told the above, – part exchange with £128, and 2 try force eject.I dno if this is any big help, but i feel ur pain
its horrible not being on my ps3, (altho can use brothers occasionally :P) am gon2 have 2 get a Slim for xmas……yeah, but i rekn wot i'll do now is to get my MW2 disk thts stuck out, then wipe my HDD, and let some1 else buy it off me, – if they get it working, good 4 them, if not then i dodged a bullet
