Metroid Prime trilogy, period. Dark Samus is effin' badass.
Other games that have a great story: Valkyria Chronicles, Metal Gear Solid (series as a whole), Shadow of the Colossus, Mass Effect (both, waiting patiently for the third one), Half-Life 2, Final Fantasy VI and VII, God of War series (best “what if” of the Greek mythology, EVER), and much, much more

I agree with you, man: Devil May Cry is all about gameplay. ALL. ABOUT. GAMEPLAY. DMC3 is enough to prove my statement. I've seen the trailer and while I don't care about a “new Dante, new story” thing, I'd like the gameplay to be just what it is: fast-paced action and a lot of variety in weapons, enemies etc. If Ninja Theory changes this, Capcom can kiss their franchise goodbye.
I do like the weapon Dante has, though. We might have the ability to do crazy combos with that SOB.
I never got to play ICO and the only thing I didn't like about SotC was the ugly-as-hell framerate (even stopped play for a while)… so I'm kinda excited about this
I know this thread is to keep others for arguing in other threads, but this whole thing is stupid.
C'mon guys. You can have both games. You can play both. U2's much preferred story and MW2's much preferred multiplayer. U2's less addicting multiplayer and MW2's boring story. No need to argue over two games.
But in the end, I guess it's just a matter of personal preference. So…
Uncharted 2.
Damn, that's tough.
Of all the games that I play, there can be some moments that I enjoy but forget over time. The most memorable would be the Gusty Garden Galaxy level on Super Mario Galaxy.
The train level in Uncharted 2 (chapter 13, I guess) was incredible too.
Also, anyone would enjoy the levels in The Legend of Zelda series… no denying it
That is amazing news. Mass Effect was the ONLY reason I wanted to get a Xbox 360, but now I can get this jewel on the PS3.
I'm just disappointed the first one won't make it. Sure, I have the PC version of ME1, but my PC is so effed up that it looks like a slideshow.
Still managing to play, though.In my opinion, THE BEST RPG of all time.
It's just so freaking that they are getting those games on the PS3. I'm really happy. Now, if Playdead could release Limbo on the PS3, we'll be golden.

But the first game was such a short one. I do think that with all the new features (Aerial Faith Plates, Propulsion/Repulsion Gel), there can be more puzzles, increasing the lenght of the game.
I didn't want God of War 2 to end the way it ended back in the days. What a serious cliffhanger (and a giant middle finger for Santa Monica). Thus we waited 3-4 years for God of War 3 to come out.
I also didn't want Portal to end. It was an amazing yet extremely short experience for me.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is the best game on the Metroid Prime series. I could play it forever…
Other games:
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King – HUGE game, and I still wanted more.
Kingdom Hearts – Best game of the series (the second one is even easier so it completely ruined for me), due to the fun combat and minigames and great boss battles.
Shadow of the Colossus – This game has, without a doubt, the best boss battles in my opinion.
Jak and Daxter – The franchise itself… for me it ended after Jak 3.
There are other games but I think that's enough.
It would be awesome if Portal 2 came with Half-Life 2: Episode 3 (someday). Then I wouldn't mind paying the full price.

I'd say go with the officials. The reason why the unofficials are much cheaper than the officials is because they are made cheaper. However, one problem with the official ps3 controller is that if you drop it a few times, the L2 and R2 trigger buttons start to get loose and even one tap on one of those buttons will activates it. Thats how mine is, and its very annoying
Haha, I can imagine you playing Uncharted 2 with your controller. Just one tap of the R2 and you throw a grenade… depending of the camera angle that can kill you a lot, huh?
