The link below shows a high def teaser trailer for the new metal gear.

Why are you worried?
It is coming to the PS3 and PC…

FYI, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker (PSP) is the only game that is being directed, written, and produced by Hideo Kojima. Rising is NOT. They just slapped his name on it….
orestes1981MemberThat seems like a fantastic show. In my opinion, I think Sony had the best. They were followed by Microsoft. Nintendo was in third, but they never care about e3 anyway….
orestes1981MemberSometimes, it is nice to live in the United States….I'm sorry that you do have access to the game yet, though.
orestes1981MemberI was downloading it when I left for work. It is like 1.32 gigs. It should be up already, unless they took it down. It was brought online @7pm Pacific time.
orestes1981MemberOH MY GAWD!
They might release Metal Gear Solid on PSN! Sweet zombie jesus!
orestes1981MemberWell, I received the Goody Two Shoes trophy (and I’m only in the section island). The game is really fun, but I can only play it hear and there. I’m one busy guy; so, I can just sit here and devote hours upon hours to this game. But, the game is fantastic!
orestes1981MemberI thought Sony did the best (I give them an B or B+) because they actually showed some games. Also, it doesn’t hurt that we receive 3 fantastic PS1 games this week (FF7, RE: DC, Medal of Honor). In addition, they didn’t really show off any multiplaform games (outside of FFXIV). It was mostly exclusive games.
Microsoft showed some things here and there, but nothing fantastic or anything. They showed a Metal Gear Solid spin-off coming to the 360, PS3, and PC. However, the actual sequal to Portal Ops was part of the Sony’s conference. In all, it was meh. They showed a lot of multiplatform games (very few exclusives).
And Nintendo….was…ummm…Nintendo. Actually, Nintendo doesn’t really care about E3. They care about TGS and their own private show. So, it wasn’t really any different than last year.
orestes1981MemberSony had the presentation of the show. Nintendo doesn’t really care about E3. They only care about TGS or their own game show. Microsoft didn’t really knock anything out of the park. That is especially true when I found out that the Milo thing was supposedly being controlled off screen. >__> Sony had the best presentation at E3.
orestes1981MemberCory,
A C- is harsh; so, I will just give it a C. The presentation was neither good nor bad. Microsoft announced some games, and slapped the fans of L4D in the face.
-Honestly, they said L4D was going to be like Team Fortress 2, but they’ve already announced an sequel.
-They showed a MGS game that is multiplatform….
-They showed Milo, but I do not really have any faith in Peter since Fable 1. Fable 2 didn’t really help matters. I will only believe in its capabilities when it is finally released since Peter has a way of over-exaggerating things.
In reality, I think the highlight of their presentation was an exclusive song for Rock Band: The Beatles, 2 exclusive multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare 2, and a sequel to a game that DOES NOT need a sequel….
orestes1981MemberHonestly, I just thought their presentation was severly lacking this year.
orestes1981MemberAdmin,
I unfortuantely disagree with you. They didn’t really show anything fascinating. There was nothing really noteworthy when it came to exclusives. Right now, I would give that presentation a C-.
orestes1981MemberJust visit http://www.gamespot.com. You can see the rundown. They basically announced a bunch of games, an Eyetoy-ripoff, a MGS: Rising game that is coming to the 360 (not exclusive), and that was it. It was pretty pathetic.
They may pull something out, but it looks like it is a pretty sad state of affairs for them. No MGS4 for the 360. No MGS5 for the 360. Just a multiplatfrom MGS side mission starring Raiden….
orestes1981MemberActually, the prison one is VERY easy to grab. You can pick it up during the mission AT the prison (when you have to take out the snipers on the roof). So, none of them are very difficult. >__>
orestes1981MemberWasn’t Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, and Broken Steel announced as exclusive content for the 360 and PC????
So, it will change. Exclusive DLC does not really work. Companies are learning this because they do not want to cut into their profit line. If XXX people only own Y console, and Y console is not getting that content, then XXX people may pass on buying the game.
orestes1981MemberIt was already announced as multi-platform via Kojima’s podcast; so, it is coming to the PS3. No worries…
