I thought it was ok. Nothing special for me, I just thought of it as another FPS game. Kinda reminded me of Borderlands, idk. Too bad Killzone 3 is coming out this month, that looks like a great FPS.

Playing Uncharted on my break at work = Win
Ruining perfectly good games with touch screen actions and gyros = Fail
This. However, I have heard the touch screen and gyros are optional, you can play the games standard if you want. Again, just a rumor.
Also, the graphics looked amazing, I'm aware its not a direct feed so no can be 100% sure about it, but it looked like first-generation ps3 games. Which is never a bad thing.
parnakasMemberOk so, as if I couldn't be more excited for this, take this in.

Amazing.
Sony, give me one. NOW.
parnakasMemberLittlebigplanet theme, but with a different background. Its the plug-in shoe from Muse's Undisclosed Desires music video. Its pretty cool i guess. I was using a Yoda background for quite some time.
parnakasMemberGreat thread idea.
This one has made me laugh for quite some time now.

Oh and this one makes me think that Gerard Butler would be perfect in an Uncharted movie.

parnakasMemberAh well i saw multi-touch pad so I guess I got confused as to what it really is. Its gonna be interesting to see how developers use it!
Seriously can't wait for this.
As for the price, $300 – 350 is expected, if you ask me. Who really knows. Gamestop is taking pre-orders, and put the price at $999 right now. Don't panic though, thats just a random price they threw up so they could start accepting pre-orders.
Also, no word on battery life. It better last at least 4 hours. 3 hours is ok I guess, but idk. Anything less than that would be a serious bummer. Also, with the inclusion of 3G, I'm sure some fee would be included in that, like a data plan or something (similar to an iPhone's 3G capabilities). And I would assume that the 3G would consume a hell of a lot of battery.
Release more details Sony!! I am way too excited for this, its kinda scary.
parnakasMemberSo here are the specs: HERE
Apparently there is a touch screen on the back of the device? Weird. Front screen is touch as well. There is also motion sensors like an accelerometer on it.
Also comes with a GPS? sure. Games are said to be released on small flash-like cards. Also, two cameras, one on the back, one on the front. Full PSN functionality, with trophy support.
3G and WiFi are built in, which I think is a really smart thing to do. And obviously the two analog sticks are probably what will sell this for me. Its about freaking time.
Also, the picture on that page shows how the dashboard will look like. I like it. Looks pretty easy to navigate, and well organized. Also, if you can access PSN on this thing, using 3G, you can send messages for free, almost like text messages, I'm assuming. Maybe there will be a cost incorporated into that to allow the use of 3G.
I must say, I am very impressed with how this is looking right now.
Sony, good job, for now. Don't screw this up for me.
parnakasMemberThis all sounds excellent. The two analog sticks is something that is LONG overdue on portable systems. Trophies sounds awesome as well.
Right now my only portable gaming device is my iPod touch, which i must admit has a stronger library of games and apps than anything out there right now.
I am definitely considering getting this at the moment, if the games they release for it are of proper quality, count me in.

I'm 17, bear in mind. There's not many people like me that enjoy Led Zepplin over todays music.
Led Zeppelin***
Also, I'm with you on everything you said. Mainstream music sucks. However, there are A LOT of great bands out there currently, you just got to dig deeper to find them.
Jack Johnson – Sleep Through The Static
The Giraffes – Done
The Giraffes are a great example of an incredible modern day band. Love em so much! Very unknown though.
parnakasMemberLittleBigPlanet 2.
Nuff said.
parnakasMemberRime of the Ancient Mariner – Iron Maiden
Forgot how great this song was!
