Of course you can use my name and tips.

1-4 are basically the levels I tried to get the Survivor trophy. The reason for my recommendation of 3+4 is just that the second (and the beginning of the third) level consist of so much climbing that it's easy to fall down and die … and it's basically a waste of time because you can''t get anything for the climbing stuff. Id recommend to start at level 3 (easy) and if there's no other possibility (like it was for me) just start a new game and hope not to die during the climbing bit or you'll just have to survive a bit longer in Level 4 then 8)

I basically got both the Steelfist trophies by accident. Didn't have a single clue on how to manage them and then at that particular scene I just tried – and succeded at first attempt.

I thought all 2.5 HDDs can be used for the PS3…

Which HDD would be the one you would recommend/use?

Wow – that's a lot 😀

Leatherboards would indeed be great and I'd love it if Sony offered a gamercard on their site where you only have to enter your PSN ID and your card will automatically be created and updated when you earn new trophies. Since the trophies are saved on Sony Servers, this can't be too difficult, can it. And you don't have to use the current systems where you have to enter all your trophies manually – which is a system that can easily be cheated as well…

I also only own the 40GB version and I'm filled up to about 15 GB left … but I'm going to buy a new HDD soon (160+ GB) and just insert it into the PS3. I don't think that 160 GB can get filled up that easily. Or would you recommend even bigger HDDs. Up to 500 GB are available in 2.5 format which fits inside the PS3.

Expect for rich trophy whores

Correct me if I'm wrong but I have in mind that Sony said all games released in 2009 (and further) MUST support the trophy system. I think that's very good because that's the only way to compete with the 360's Gamerscore and most of the game do feature a vast reward system (Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 for instance) which can't be that hard to additionally to be transformed into trophies.

My first attempt was similar – basically perfect driving … except for that gate I hit when exiting the test area. My instructor told me afterwards that he doesn't understand why the guy flunked me 😀

A few more tips from me:

Survivor – Chapters 3+4 in “easy” mode.
Run-and-Gunner – Chapter 17, just run towards the creatures and hit R1 when you're close. There should be enough ammo and enough creatures. If not, get yourself killed.
Brutal Expert also works in chapter 3 when you have to run and escape the enemies after exiting the ship. Run run forards and kill the first guy with a brutal combo (another scene where the game instructs you on how to do a brutal combo), then let your persuaders shoot you.

Conratulations!

I myself am already struggeling at “Hard” (Level 4, first big battle) but I haven't tried really hard yet. I just got demotivated after dying 4 times

I found a perfect spot to do that.

In Level 4 there is a checkpoint where you first have to jump over a small crack and then you can see parts of a ruin. You walk up straight to the door and just run inside. Shoot at the first guy, run towards him and hit him. Focus the next guy and do the same procedure again – there should be precicely 5 guys but if I have miscounted … just let the last one kill you. Only possible in Easy game mode but I succeeded at first try.

Just tried … and succeeded.

Now I only need three more – Charted hard and crushing and of course the Platinum…
