I'm called Liam, 16, come from Wales, been on the site quite a long time now, and even before i joined i was a `stalker` using this site for trophy lists.
You can refer to me by my nickname of `Kog` not to fond of `King`alone, sounds too common and cliche. Started gaming with the Sega, good ol' Sonic days, the it was pokemon red on the Gameboy, before getting the PS1 and the years of Driver 2 then began. Got my ps3 back in 2007, didnt get on psn until early 2008 (the first game i ever played online was Burnout:Paradise), used to love collecting trophies when they first came out, slowly lost the drive, now i just get what i can along the way of playing the game, except under certain circumstances (ie Fallout New Vegas, where im determined to plat, but not necessarily via rushing it!)
Other than gaming; i enjoy playing guitar, i play on a tanglewood les paul in the style of the 57 Gibson Les Paul thats been set up professionally to my likings, along with top notch triple humbuckers on it. Reading books, mainly stephen kings. Listening to music, pretty much only oldies, quite varied i.e Pink Floyd, The Who, Cat Stevens, Led Zeppelin, Simon+Garfunkel etc etc. (and as seeing Ratchet mentioned it) Martial Arts, i've studied kyokushin kaikan for around 9 years (started lessons back in a primary after school class at 7! however then it wasn't kyokushin, i started that after 4 years), also did taekwondo alongside in another class for about 5 weeks, but it wasn't my style, so i dropped it
I'm currently in 6th form in my school, studying Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and the Welsh Bac, and would like to study medicine in uni.
So welcome all new people, enjoy your stay etc etc's
That's a nice guitar. I play an Epiphone Les Paul Custom 50th Anniversary edition. It's black with gold detail.
pool96MemberI've been here a long time, I suppose I would call myself a veteran of the site.
My name's Jack, I am 14, I live in Ireland and am in my Junior certificate year.
I play Gaelic Football, soccer, piano and guitar. I support liverpool.
I've had a PS3 since European launch and I used to be addicted to collecting trophies but now I just play FIFA whenever I am on. I wont be playing much for a few months though, I have state exams in school at the end of the year so some serious study must be done.
I think I have 10 platinum trophies. My favourite games are Rockband 1 + 2, Uncharted 1 + 2, and FIFA 11.
pool96MemberIm in my Junior Cert year. I have 11 State Examinations at the end of the year. Irish, English, Maths, History blah blah. So far I have been getting good marks in all my subjects and am doing honours level for all my exams.
EDIT: 1,000 post!!

pool96MemberI doubt it, when I asked whether we would be making predictions on International games or not gashead said no. Maybe though, it would be interesting though as people wouldn't really know what teams are going to be put out, especially for Liverpool V Northampton and Scunthorpe V Manchester United.
pool96MemberI think I only got 2 points this week
I don't have a great knack for this competition.
I get a bonus point though I think.

Is it a coincidence that all the Liverpool fans have started the prediction season badly?
it's just because u all predict them to win, but u don't realise they're not good anymore
No, your right, at the moment we're not a great side. We just have to build again. The first landmark in the rebuilding of the club will be the new owners make no mistake about that. Once someone comes in who will make funds available for Roy Hodgson to build the team he wants, then starts the process of waiting for that team to 'click'. Rafael Benitez had instant success at Liverpool, don't expect Roy Hodgson to.
It's not all doom and gloom though: Fernando Torres is one of the best strikers in the world, once he's back to form he will be scraping 1-0 wins for us. Pepe Reina is still one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and the two new signings look really promising, I was impressed with Paul Koncheskey against Birmingham and Raul Merieles' 20 minute cameo showed none of this 'adapting to the Premier League' crap we hear about foreign players coming in. Joe Cole is available again aswel after serving his three match ban.
Next match: V Manchester United at Old Trafford
