pool96MemberI am not a fanboy regarding any consoles, but I have a magical ability to convince myself that anyone who says anything bad about Liverpool is a complete eejit and should be locked up in Santa Rosa mental hospital.
That is unless you say something bad about Ryan Babel.. then I will join in. He is a moping whining fool with no touch nervermind a bad one.
pool96MemberWhy has everybody written off Liverpool straight away. With 10 players against Arsenal we made it extremely difficult for them and were unlucky to take 3 points. Torres is almost back to full match fitness, causing mayhem last night against Trabzonspor. We haven't seen the best of Joe Cole, Christian Poulsen or Milan Jovanovich yet so I think Liverpool will have a great year this year.
predicted team to play Man City:
Reina
Johnson
Skrtel —- Carragher — AurelioKuyt
Lucas/Mascherano — Gerrard
Jovanovich
Ngog
Torres
– Joe Cole is starting his 3 game suspension so he's not available
– Daniel Agger has almost certainly been ruled out through concussion
– Mascherano is a doubt with a calf strain but it seems likely he'll be fit
pool96MemberBSC Young Boys Bern 3-2 Tottenham
Young Boys really surprised me, they were very good technically and they were defiantely suited to the artificial surface. Tottenham's goal gave them a bit of life and they started to play a bit better but credit to Young Boys who kept trying to play football and didn't just sit back.
Young boys had 3 good chances in the second half to put the tie to bed in the second half but weren't clinical enough and it came back to haunt them when Roman Pavylechenko scored a very Ngog-esque goal to make the return leg in White Hart Lane a mouth watering fixture.
pool96MemberBack when I used to play MW2 it would say signed out at the top right of my screen but I could play on for about five minutes before I got kicked. I could actually go into my XMB and re-sign in and play on in the same game. It was actually quite funny.
emm.. I get signed out a lot just keep trying to sign in and if that doesn't work then turn your playstation on then off and try again.

FCUKING JOE COLE!!!!!!
That's the last time I put a dirty red in my team
I was dissapointed in that tackle. Firstly though Joe Cole is not a dirty player so please don't say that about him, that was his first ever sending off and in fairness it wasn't malicious or intentional so give him that.
People are complaining that Konsciely got pulled for handball and Ngog didn't but why didn't Jack Wilshere get a straight red and Joe Cole did.
pool96MemberI really think Liverpool will do really well this year.
1. Improved team: It's 15 months since Liverpool finished 2nd in the league, since that we've lost Alonso and Benayoun and gained Jovanovich and Joe Cole. Mascherano leaving is almost iminent I would say now but Christian Poulson is almost definately going to join and Hodgson is looking at some more strikers (Need a left back though)
2. Manager: I really like Roy Hodgson as a manager. He is straightforward and simple and that works a lot better than Benitez's crap – “jyes i think that the team is playing badly but is only 50 mins gone so emm no substitute” The arrival of Hodgson has brought a freshness to the side, all the lads are looking for the ball, looking for space and there's a sense of urgency that just hasn't been there the last year.
3. No Champions League: It would be nice to win the Europa League as the final is on my birthday and it's in Dublin so hopefully I would be able to go, but I still rather the we won the league. If there's a case that a Europa league game sandwiched by two important premier league games, fans wont mind so much if Hodgson puts out a weak team in the Europa league as they would if he did in a Champions League game.
Overall, I am thinking at least 4th for Liverpool this year, and I expect to start with a win against Arsenal on Sunday.

It's ridiculous. I'd understand if the US and UK had different discounts and content every week, like the normal weekly store update is. But certainly not that it's different in that we get discounts and free stuff every MONTH as opposed to every week on the US store. It's a disgrace that they'd let it be so different.
You'd think since we have been paying for this that Sony would try a little harder
