you can make your own levels and put them online for other players to donwload. you WON'T get money for doing this. but the development team have said it's a possibility that if people consistently make levels that are very very popular theres a chance that those level creators will be asked to work with them to produce some new levels that will be made available as DLC for a small fee.

i applied earlier today, here's hoping theres some slots left. as for reporting on it, i've taken part in public beta testing before and generally you only really have to report any problems/crashes/glitches etc that they can then act to rectify before release.

not neccesarily. i dont tend to pirate games but movies and music i do. more often than not i'll see a movie in the cinema first or buy the dvd later but as for music i usually don't unless its a cd i really really like. this isnt the place for the discussion on music piracy but bands/artists make their money from gig tickets and merch, not the cd's/records.

this game looks awesome i really can't wait. As for making money I read somewhere that the process for LBP and home-level-makers would go like this.

the maps people make will get rated etc as people download them and play them, the LBP guys said they'll keep an eye on people who are making consistently popular community maps and possibly ask a few of them to come along and together build a DLC map pack for the playstation store. I doubt anyone'll be making 50 K it'll be a one off payment and sony will own all the rights i would imagine. But still, not a bad deal and there is the possibility of getting experience from them and who knows, maybe getting a job in the future.

i've had it for a while, only really played a level or two of the single player. i liked it just never got really into it as IMO cod4 is an all round better game. This might give me the kick up the arse to give it another go.

i've taken out countless drives and not once needed anti-static stuff. though it probably is a good idea. i wouldnt try it unless you're confident you'll manage.

i'm stu, 23 year old from scotland and just graduated with a degree in biochemistry. looking for a job which is taking ages so i've got plenty of time to play games 🙂

Been a gamer for almost 2 decades now and feel like a right old geek 😛 Interests are games (obv) drinking, playing guitar on my own or with my band and generally just having a good time. Also likes long walks on the beach…

i'm definately gonna be buying it, s'gonna be an awesome game trophies or not. even without trophies it'll be worth a play 🙂 i'm not really bothered about trophies in general ( if i was i'd be an xbox loser :P) cos most of the time they arent for anything THAT challenging, but this game would have sooo many things that would work well as trophies. seems a weird decision.

yep, it'll be much more of the same (as the first far cry and crysis) ie blowing up lots of ill-equiped enemies but it'll look FANTASTIC if the videos are to be believed. can't wait. Hope they've sorted out the AI from the other games though. Those guys could hit you with a pistol from half the level away, a tad ridiculous 😛

looking forward to bioshock too, even though ive played through it on pc already i think i might be tempted to get it for the ps3 to see what the additional content is like
