Watched the V/H/S the other night since the Sundance bloggers and whatnot haven't shut up about the damn film!! Any who, I enjoyed what I saw however I must say, it was a bit too… short? Out of the 5 tapes shown in the film, there was may 2 or 3 that were really well worth my time with tape 4 being one that may actually be the first to have me scream out loud, during the day, in my house It's interesting and I'm definitely anticipating the sequel since it's… cool?
Not only was V/H/S good, however Flight was unexpectedly good as well. While the film may be receiving a little bit too much praise, I actually did enjoy it but I couldn't help but scratch my head as to why “Gimmie Shelter” by the Rolling Stones kept playing in the background? Didn't have any problems with the film however Denzel Washington's accent is just too damn hilarious And surprisingly, the ending of the film was pretty good, which is usually where a film falters for me *Sinister*
scotty243MemberBeen reading lately since there's been what seems to me no motivation whatsoever to finish up any trophy lists
Managed to jump back into Dead Space 3 co-op on Pure Survival which seemed to end where we started off, failing Another friend of mine is planning on doing Hardcore sometime this upcoming weekend, so I'll probably delete the patch in order to use the Devil Horns in that mode. Should (hopefully) be a breeze because I seriously don't want to spend too much time on it
Loaded up Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (which surely I can relate to ) which flipped the fcuking table into being downright awful! I at least thought it'd be a kick ass game, instead I received mediocre slow gameplay that either has poor responsive controls, or is unbelievably brutal even on Average Joe difficulty!!
Pondering whether or not to begin a second playthrough of Far Cry 3 on Warrior difficulty this weekend? Still will attempt a second helping of the 100% as well since I'm just in love with that game…

Better than those COD map packs!!

That's quite interesting, never saw this in the game whatsoever.

This is way too hilarious.

Wow, this is kick ass! Can't wait to have the “finished” product in my hands!
scotty243MemberI'm incredibly stoked right now to be robbed of an extra $10 for the REAL ending!
Hell yeah!
scotty243MemberWow, it seems to me that I'm the only pessimist here. The thing that slightly impressed me was the new Playstation Network stuff however everything else was… OK? I wasn't jumping out of my seat praising anything nor was I actually interested in any of it.
The line up of games is fairly weak (with the exception of (Watch Dogs, The Witness, and The Witcher 3), I think, and there seems to just be the basic line up of racers, shooters, etc. Nothing fresh or exciting is (besides a 3 or 4 games are) “hittin' the scene”, I think. And what the ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** is up with Final Fantasy, seriously?! I'd like to play Final Fantasy XIII-2 or whatever but I can't fathom at how this series won't die already.
Killzone looked… boring? Maybe it's because Far Cry evolved the shooter genre for me but Killzone looked fairly weak and if I didn't know any better, I would've thought it to be Black Ops III. I appreciate the fact that it seems to possibly be more of an urban battlefield approach, I guess, instead of being on a crazy warzone. From what I had interpreted from (what seems to me more of a tech demo) that I like is how it seems there could be a sort of “terrorist” attack going on, if that makes sense? I'd much rather be involved in high level “terrorist” attacks and such than watching a bunch of soldiers being blown up or shot in some deserted city.
And the PS4 no backwards compatibility makes me quote the greatest man of all time, Pvt. Hudson, from Aliens:
“That's it man, game over man, game over! What the ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do?”
Also, with no pricing, release (apart from a half-assed “Holiday…”), and not even a glimpse at what it could possibly look like, I'm not sold a bit.
scotty243MemberThe gameplay video doesn't add much to my thoughts on the title, it still is lacking immersion or any sense of tension with last gen graphics, I believe?!
And wow, I just noticed they forgot to move the cursor out of filming for the trailer, thanks to a Youtube comment. How professional
scotty243MemberIs anyone else speculating PS Vita 2? Or Vita Go? That'd be quite wicked to see since Sony has a past of not supporting there handhelds much!

C'mon man! I thought you said you'd let me win our trophy competition!
Been chipping away slowing at Max Payne 3's multiplayer portion for the past few days. It's been relatively fun since I've a friend to blast through the levels and DLC with, so I'm not feeling too overwhelmed and bored. Completed the Challenge mode within a few hours and was actually appalled at how easy the mode was, with that, either no one had bothered with the DLC or I'm just that good (which I doubt), every single mission I'm in the top 100 and for some I believe I'm even top 10?! I think I've enjoyed the campaign even more with the Challenge mode than I ever did, same applies for MP.
Dead Space 3 Pure Survival has been keeping Em and I at our tip top shape To be quite honest, the mode has its difficult parts which keeps our blood pressure high since they are other parts in the game where we're just breezing through sections. We've managed to knock out some misc. along the way and chapter specific which is nice since I'd hate to keep repeating sections of this game later on for clean up.
Classic mode has me in the single player department though, but it's absolutely nothing. Enemies are dropping like rain and resources are never scarce. Maybe it's because after co-op, I usually play through on Classic through the chapters I've done in co-op so I already know the enemies routes? If not, maybe I'm just too bad ass

Do you need any particular help in Far Cry 3's co-op? Forgot to punch it in my original post however would have you rather see it in a new post than skipping/forgetting about it in an edit…
scotty243MemberThe depressing music of Max Payne 3
scotty243MemberI'm good for Saturday, which I told I773 about last weekend. Might not be on the mic though since the exhiliration proceeds in my novels!!

I just recommended gr8 for the boost tomorrow so he might join? Waiting for Daniel to reply to see what's up.
As for myself, spent a bit of my Aliens: Colonial Marines cash to pick up some stuff that needed to be finished off. Managed to snag the Rockstar Season Pass for Max Payne 3 which I spent an hour or two playing through today and am especially surprised with the amount of content the DLC has offered. Saying that, I haven't played on the actual maps but have been using some of the weapons, modes, etc. acquired through the DLC. Waiting for a friend to show up online so we could take down the Dead Men Walking mode trophy and some other stuff as well. Should be fun
Gave Dead Space 3 my “all” during my playthrough and was pretty happy that I've managed to knock down a good portion of the missions 100% during my time. Haven't gone back since it's simply not fun at all in single player mode so hopefully loading up the co-op soon, actually anticipating it!!
