Vampire Weekend – Ya Hey
scotty243Member@ Freddie
Nope, I actually enjoyed Gangster Squad more so than I ever did with any of the Iron Man films. Gangster Squad is a flawed movie, but I liked it all the way however it's not memorable or anything. I'll probably forget it in a few weeks time though.
Saw Thor earlier in the week in one of my classes, and to my surprise, I really liked the movie. It's not spectacular, but I had fun with the film since I thought it was charming at times. I'm not pumped for Thor 2, but I wouldn't mind paying full price for it if it's like its predecessor.
scotty243MemberIt seems the more I look at The Last of Us' list, the more I like it. The images look slick while the actual requirements don't seem too bad, aside from those unwanted multiplayer trophies. I like the fact that the list is geared towards actually working your ass off rather than whorin' out a few.
The multiple playthroughs may seem dull, but as far as I'm concerned with the New Game+ and the upgrades, one could possibly breeze through the game and perform speed runs? Well, who knows until next week?
scotty243MemberAt least the trophy images look nice…

Oh, yeah! Don't get me started with Far Cry 3 Do that! DO. IT!!
Also, meant to throw in there, try The Walking Dead from Telltale; it's unique and very immersive with a trophy list that compliments you for playing the game, literally.
Anywho, spent the majority of my day playing through Sleeping Dogs trying for collectibles and the 100% before finally saying ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** it; I've been so goddamn bored going for those trophies in that game, it's like Mafia II all over again! I thoroughly enjoyed it's story, but everything else is just excrutiating for me to complete. I'll have to give this one a wait as having to possibly do another playthrough is depressing
At the main menu of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon right now, going to spend my time trying to enjoy this for the latter part of the day as well as the beginning of the next…

The single player trophies are also kind of annoying. Lots of collectibles trophies, there's one that's like the Tomb Raider one for hearing all optional conversations, and there's EIGHT difficulty trophies. Easy, Normal, Hard, Survivor, and a + version for each.
I wonder though if the difficulty stacks? Such as finishing the game on Hard, which I assume will unlock Survivor, then just complete Survivor then do Survivor+.
Anywho, as for the actual multiplayer footage, it looks like fcuking dogshit. Now I understand why Naughty Dog didn't show and even say jack-shit 2 weeks prior to it's goddamn release. Tomb Raider's multi seems more promising than this sack of shit. Terrible.
As for the actual game itself, I'll wait on it till it hits the bargain bin or something. I don't have anything against this game, but if I patiently waited 2 years for this, then I can wait another few months for a price drop
scotty243MemberSleeping Dogs' story has been keeping me busy, and after finishing it last night, I was thoroughly impressed. The final fight in the game was stunning and incredibly cinematic; reminded me of the ending of Romeo Must Die with the story of The Departed. Saying that though, as much as I loved the story in this game, for some reason I can't bring it to myself to do the collectibles and side missions. I like them, it's just I don't have real motivation to continue forward.
Finished The Year of the Snake DLC earlier this morning, and then proceeded to scratch my head as it had ended rather abruptly. Quite pleased to see a gold pop though.
scotty243MemberIron Man 3 – Dreadful. One of the first films to make me want to walk out/check the time due to how boring it was throughout. One of the best parts of the film looked like a video game, which I'm confused as to whether that should be a good or bad thing? Whatever. If there was something good about this movie, it's Robert Downey Jr. and his charisma on screen; he's just likeable throughout as well as some of the supporting cast. It's the best Iron Man, yet, but that's not saying much.
Fast & Furious 6 – Underwhelming.
Gangster Squad – Good.
scotty243MemberAfter finishing The Devil's Cartel, I loaded up Resistance 3 and have been knocking out trophies like fighters in a boxing ring. On my Superhuman playthrough and need about 10 trophies left, so should have the plat Sunday, perhaps?
It's been a fun ride, despite the fact that I usually play it when I'm tired as hell.
Warhammer boosting hasn't been fun by any means. I think I've spent more time asleep than I have on playing the actual game!!
Installing DUST 514 to give it a go sometime with a friend. Perhaps it's learned some of the faults that were presented in the beta (which last quite some time…)? Don't know exactly when we'll get to it, but it should be enjoyable…
Going to give Just Cause 2 a go sometime next week with a “one playthrough method”, so starting from scratch on Hardcore to save me some time. Perhaps I'll get into it this time…
scotty243MemberJoey Bada$$ x Capital STEEZ – Survival Tactics
Asher Roth ft. Curren$y – Dude
scotty243MemberCaught a showing of Star Trek Into Darkness yesterday morning with a jam-packed crowd (was wishing there were earlier showings…). I thoroughly enjoyed the film throughout. There's only a single complaint I have however it's pretty minor due to the fact that the film executes everything so expertly that I'll let it slide, plus, it's a spoiler
As long as Abrams helms the films, I'll always purchase a ticket
scotty243MemberThe Jezabels – Prisoner
scotty243MemberNot Plus:
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
PixelJunk Eden (I still keep saying I'll play it )
Alice: Madness Returns
Borderlands 2
Hydrophobia: Prophecy
DUST 514 (Waiting for a friend who's a major EvE fan to hop on)
Plus:
Sleeping Dogs
Demon's Souls
Darksiders
The Cave
Closure
Knytt Underground
Sideway
Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov's Revenge
That's off the top of my head as well as the games I actually want to play. Finished The Devil's Cartel which has been sitting on my shelf for a weeks now, perhaps one of the Plus games will do?
scotty243Member#38 Army of TWO: The Devil's Cartel
Difficulty: 3/10
Enjoyment: 2/10
This is half-assed material at it's finest
