@Freddy P
Can't praise a game for mediocrity
@ Em
Don't worry, doubt I'll even get the chance to play it!!
@gr8
'Cause people still need to recover from Infinite's badassery
—
After a month long hiatus from Syndicate, I've finally managed to pop the bastard back in and have been enjoying my time with it thus far. I managed to rack up the CEO ratings on Hard difficulty in a matter of hours with no real challenge Collectibles annoy me however I'll get to them eventually. Not much is needed for the single player portion but may jump back into it since some of the grind-y trophies require 500 penetration kills
Pondering whether or not to load back up Dishonored or get rid of it entirely since I actually enjoyed the last few chapters, more than I thought I would To be quite honest, it reminded me alot of Mafia II whereas the plot wasn't really that gripping but towards the end when certain plot twists do occur, the game does flip around for the better Anywho, if I do hop back into it in the next few days, I may try the all-out stealth run of the game
May pick up Infinite this upcoming Friday however I'm questioning if there will be a good sale on it soon since it's $10 off at the moment? I wouldn't mind paying full price either, but a good deal never hurts
scotty243MemberSan Cisco – Beach
The Postelles – Can't Stand Still
Adore these songs quite alot; I'd go as far to say some of my favorites
scotty243Member#35: Hitman Absolution
Enjoyment: 4/10
Difficulty: 1/10
Boring. That's all I can really say. What started off strong surely ended in a wreck for me. I couldn't stand this game after the initial playthrough and wished I had opted to just do it all in one go. Was going to try and bag this piece of shit on my birthday but I surely couldn't care at all for this game. This game was a waste all around, I think, and it doesn't help that the ending for this title was a colossal insult in which nothing at all can redeem this title whatsoever.
A pass, at BEST.
scotty243MemberHaven't been much into the gaming scene lately, despite the fact that I'm signed into PSN
Hitman Absolution hasn't been too impressive, I think. I've had my fun for the first 10 chapters however afterwards the game started to drag a bit. The story wasn't as compelling as I thought it'd be but it did have its moments, I think? Gameplay-wise, I stopped trying to play stealthly after the first few chapters since I didn't like the stealth at all in the title; It felt broken at times and not as smoothed out or polished as let's say, Deus Ex. It's whatever though – Should have the plat cracked out tomorrow.
Dishonored is also on the underwhelmed list – Haven't been impressed a single bit. I truly think that this game is much better in concept than in context since it has elements I admire (dark tone, assassins, betrayal, & supernatural powers) however it doesn't play out fully in the main game. The story for me isn't compelling at all though and it's near one of the most dull I've had to experience yet. I'll probably drag this throughout the week (or month) since it's criminal to have a game that is boring.
Also have Metal Gear Solid 3 one playthrough method guide lined up for use but at the moment I can't be assed since it's such a boring game and it's collectible heaven
May give EVE Online a go later tonight since a friend and I have been eyeing at it for some time. He's played it for quite a while now and should get me through the tutorials to have some epic RTS happening!!

Okay here we go:
Dishonored
Don't blame ya' – The game is boring as balls!! May never finish it myself!!
Dishonored? Boring? W-what?
Let me make it a bit more clear: IT ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** SUCKS.
scotty243MemberJust… wow. I'm amazed at how impressive this game was. I rented this bad boy last night to try on my dummy account and it was probably some of the best gaming I've had since Far Cry 3/Spec Ops. The story for this game (especially the ending) was absolutely magnificent and is ultimately and truly a story about one man's redemption. Gameplay for this was smooth as well as fluid and never felt repetitive at any time since the controls were expertly placed and made the game feel much more solid. To be honest though, this has to be one of the only shooters where I used a lot of hip-fire. It's not because the aiming button was in a different position than in other games, but more of the fact that the gun play was so smooth that it felt natural.
Do yourself a favor and buy this game – which I will be doing soon. One of the very best experiences I've had in gaming and I would say well worth full price. Whatever you do though, sit back and take the time to enjoy the game!! This isn't a game to storm through for the plat, etc.
Just buy the game – There's nothing else to say. I mean, what's there to life anymore? Food doesn't taste the same, gaming doesn't feel the same. Infinite is up there with the best for me, personally. This is this year's Far Cry 3/Uncharted 3, I think. Stunning, masterful, beautiful, dark, and much more for one of the most engrossing experiences in gaming yet.

Welcome to the club!
Saw EVIL DEAD a few weeks back – A day after release, I suppose? What a ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** disappointment. I actually thought it would be something – It had everything going for it: dark tone, actual practical effects for gore, good producers behind the project, etc. I was completely bored throughout the entire film with its cheap jump scares and shit. Everything shown in the red band trailer is basically the entire film (or at least all the “decent” parts, and I mean decent loosely). The gore for me wasn't much, nor was it actually cool – It actually felt a lot like Mortal Kombat. It's cool at first, I guess? Then it becomes numbing after a while to the point where it's just tasteless.
Waste of time, waste of money (no matinee?! ), just a waste overall.

Oh and this just got my hype level to boner status:

Dude, I was on top of this shit like white on rice!! Should have the plat bagged within the hour or so however I just find it to be unbearable since I'm absolutely burnt from the day's events TIme to finish this shit!!
scotty243MemberSaw ARGO a few weeks back and actually quite enjoyed it. It wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, however Affleck knows how to keep the viewer interested. I'm not going to talk about the film much however it's definitely a highlight of '12, I think? I wouldn't go as far as to say that one of the last scenes was “suspenseful as shit”, since it really wasn't, but it was cool.
Stoked for EVIL DEAD later!! It surely won't let me down!!
*Gets back from the theather. Writes 5 page long non-sensical rant on how poor it was while everyone else enjoyed the film*
scotty243MemberKaty B x Diplo x Iggy – Light as a Feather
Been jammin' to this for possibly a month or more now, simply awesome! Waiting for Sony to send me the EP though as they said I should get the Danger EP free for signing up for their newsletter, however it's yet to arrive
scotty243MemberSince I've been off the last few days due to some personal matters/issues, I completely lost track of what I was doing in some games
I believe I'm on The End's boss battle in Metal Gear Solid 3? I'm quite glad I was off since once I load up the save (which should be right after this post), he should be dead from old age Also, it seems as if this game is collectible heaven or something since every 2 feet there's something to collect so I'm focusing on just collecting those sour patch kids or whatever as well as no kills. I've been warming up to the game though. It seems that once I got to the Pain's fight, everything was much more ameliorate. I'm liking the game however as far as “best of the series” comments go, I think Guns of the Patriots (despite that ridiculous trophy list!! ) is on top
Thinking of finishing Scott Pilgrim as well but it I simply can't be assed
Recently ordered Dishonored as well as Hitman: Absolution both brand new for the price of a full retail game, so that was pretty exciting Both games should be arriving Wednesday however I'm not sure if I should wait another week to load them up as I'm taking a “day off” the following Thursday to simply do whatever Eager for Purist mode in Absolution!!!
scotty243MemberBeen trying to avoid this thread like the plague due to whether or not if I personally felt and wanted to boost this game however I guess you guys might as well count me out of doing BioShit 2 (I actually like this game, don't get it wrong!!) boosting. I'm sorry guys but honestly, I'm in absolutely no mood nor do I have any motive whatsoever to boost this game. A handful of trophies for a game that was decent and fun for a day isn't much motivation for me. Yeah, the plat is nice to have, I guess? However, I honestly don't feel like picking up this game again and whatnot. Also, I refuse to spend however much the DLC costs for simply 2 or so trophies and a handful of maps I'll never use again.
Anywho, sorry again for disappoint you guys. I'd rather let you guys do you're own thing instead of (assuming) you guys waiting on me. As for right now, I'm avoiding any and all multiplayer stuff (except for whenever triple xp comes for Max Payne 3 ) since it's a waste of my time and money. If there's a game with co-op that we all have on our list that requires us to play on the hardest difficulty or something, I'll do that however I will not do any competitive “bang bang” multiplayer as of now.
scotty243Member@ Em
Dude, ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** Syndicate. That piece of dick licking, shit eating, garbage ass game has frozen my Playstation more times than the console itself has in a year! The one game that doesn't require a patch and it sorely needs one. The game freezes every 2 minutes and it becomes such a hassle that I sometimes have to do a hard reset for the bastard to work!! And I know it's not just me or my console because many people have had the same issue. I could literally sit here and write pages and pages on how awful Syndican't is and that's just for one of the many problems!!
I think I'd opt to play Dead Space 3 four more times or even finish MoH: Warfighter than play Syndicate since those games were at the very least somewhat enjoyable!!

Any who, I loaded up Metal Gear Solid 3 HD to actual enjoy something for once however I was surely let down. Either I wasn't in the mood or perhaps it's the game, but I was bored the entire hour or so I was playing that game It got to the point where I was falling asleep as the cutscenes were playing out The controls for the game don't help either, since they are some of the worst controls I've had to deal with since who knows.
If there's one thing I do admire about the game though, it has to be that bad ass James Bond-type intro. So awesome!
scotty243Member@Em
I've been helping with A4O as much as you've been helping out with Syndicate
