@ Kriggs
You said it, man. I'm just about done with the whole grinding trend that developers seem to put on their trophy lists. It's uninspiring, drivel, and downright disgusting that that is the only way to create longevity in their titles. It shows that they don't have any creative ideas as to how to achieve something in game, it's just, “kill this enemy 545h2ohlgfhaoh03”
I suggested Vanquish for that specific reason since the list is basically finish the game on hard, collectibles, trials, etc. It doesn't have that wonky donkey bullshit developers such as Starbreeze have that they can shove up their asses.

Maybe the fact that I'm surprised is because I'm such a great musician who has done created such phenomenal tracks such as, Soft Beats, Soft Love and the new upcoming, Love is War.
Nah, maybe it's that I've never actually paid attention to the platinum requirements for that game and stuff. I'll probably look it over sometime. You should plat Rock Band 3. Isn't there a trophy that requires finishing like a 9 hour continuous session?
scotty243MemberMan, my spring break is almost gone, so that's out of the question. Also, I'm working on Syndicate co-op with a friend which takes priority over my other games, so Silent Hill 2 wouldn't fit anywhere in the days (unless I stay up at night and play then wake up early in the morning to start Syndicate co-op…), so this would have to start in the few weeks or something…

So it's been announced. Seems roman numerals are the new “in” now, for some idiotic reason? I'd actually opt to see just a 5 or something however I'm not sure if that means Metal Gear Solid 5 or Metal Gear Solid V (as in the actual letter, not the roman numeral) since at the end of the trailer, V has come to, the hell does that mean?
I'm assuming The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes are virtually the same game. I mean, The Phantom Pain has to be the main game while Ground Zeroes is the tutorial (prologue/training grounds of the title).
Also, I gotta find Kojima's iPod or something! This guy usually can find some good ass music, if you ask me?!
scotty243MemberThe facial capture is truly magnificent, I think. It's possibly some of the best since Far Cry 3 With that, this game looks almost exactly like Battlefield 3, with update graphics. And wait, aren't some of those enemies multiplayer characters from Battlefield 3?!
It seems as if DICE is learning from their mistakes from what the previous installment offered up in it's single player department – Serving up some some incredible cinematic set pieces and what seems to be some (what could hopefully be) emotional squad attachment I'm wishing I get a chance to play as Irish though, that guy is bad ass! But he's a little bit too crispy to be me
That song in the beginning was pretty wicked too!
Bonnie Tyler — Total Eclipse of the Heart
Not sure if it matches up with Sacco e Vanzetti from Ground Zeroes though…

Despite my absolute hatred for Ascension, do you still think the others (especially GoW3) are worth a look into if I didn't like Ascension? I don't want to give up on the series if the latest one isn't on par with the previous games…
Congrats on the plat. To be honest, I didn't think the plat would be as rare as it is since it's been out for almost 2 years now. Do you think you'll go for the 100%? Or is it bagged then dragged out?
#33 Crysis 3
Game Enjoyment: None
Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 (Only because of how tedious it was to play this dump)
Alrighty, where to start off? I don't know Anywho, I'm not angry at this game, I don't hate this game or anything, I just don't care or like this game. Yes, it's certainly not worth anyone's hard earned cash or time however it didn't feel like a cash grab or was just a broken game overall. I didn't care for the plot whatsoever, the graphics aren't really that good, and the gameplay wasn't at all fun, engaging, or strong.
Saying all of that, this game did shine, in it's wonderfully dynamic score. The music in the game was great overall – It fits wonderfully in this so called “Final chapter” in the Crysis storyline and there were actual moments in game where I would stop and just take a second to digest the great music being processed into my ears. However, there is a negative side to my praising – It's not memorable in any way, which is a shame since this is where the game does shine.
Here's a few samples…

Overall, don't waste your time or money. There are much better games to use that hard earned dough on, even if you're a fan of Crysis, especially 2.
scotty243MemberI'd do Silent Hill 2 HD, to be honest. I wonder if Jack could lend me some tips though…
scotty243Member@ Doc
Yeah, it's entirely free with the new update however if you want the trophies pertaining to that mode such as the 200 enemies killed and such, that requires the purchase of the Wallace Wells Multiplayer add-on.
scotty243MemberThe Following = Ass
The Americans = Dull
That's how I can sum up those sloppy ass shows.
Watch Bates Motel. That's something pretty damn good!
scotty243Member@ Seibei
I knew someone was going to mentioned SoTC!! I've actually been wanting to play that game for the longest, too, so maybe that's a good choice? Vanquish sounds like fun as well so that could come into play sometime later on
scotty243MemberLoaded up the half-assed Crysis 3 and have been playing that heap of shit for the last day or two, which is soul crushing. I don't even know what the story is since I skipped through all of the cutscenes. The gameplay is effy and the graphics aren't really that impressive, especially after witnessing something spectacular such as Far Cry 3 beforehand I'm not even sure if this game is worse than God of War: Ascension or is slightly better? Both were piles of utter shit, I thought The trophies seem fairly easy so I could hopefully have this steamy pile done soon? If not, then oh well, a few trophies are better than nothing

Picked up Syndicate last weekend (the actual purchase of the title is another story , fcukin' employees ), and was disappointed in the cliche lackluster single player experience It has such great concepts that aren't capable of CEO status which irredeemably sours the rest of the single player experience tremendously I finished the campaign on Hard difficulty in a matter of a few sittings across 2, maybe 3 days? Who knows… I'll have to revisit the predictable Deus Ex half-assed single player to rack up the rest of the trophies however it'll be worth it for the plat
Co-op on the other hand for Syndicate is actually pretty damn cool, I thought? It's one of the co-op experiences though such as Scott Pilgrim where the more time you put into it, the more you get out of it. I've 43% of the co-op overall done with some weapons maxed out already and a good portion of the challenges completed. I'm actually quite eager to hop back on it with a friend in the coming days to obliterate other corporations from the competition

Gave Scott Pilgrim a go Thursday and actually had quite some fun with it, despite some infuriating moments. I managed to level up Scott to Lvl. 8 and am on the third world? The gameplay later on in the game becomes immensely satisfying and pulling off stylish combos never gets old. It's a difficult game though, even on the easiest difficulty however the satisfication after finishing a world is just great
Wondering whether or not is I should squeeze out the Beyond Good & Evil HD 100% this week since I've off and nothing to do? It seems easy and I've heard nothing but stellar praise for it.
scotty243MemberHey Kriggs,
Since you're still up for it, I saw you were a premium user on PSNProfiles so I was wondering, would you like to try and see who would be the fastest or have the most acquired “Ultra Rare” plats? I've got a few under my belt (Battefield 3, Kane & Lynch 2, PAYDAY) however I've been wanting something more challenging.
I've Metal Gear Solid 3 HD installed in my hard drive, would you like to see who the first/fastest achiever for the plat would be between you and me? Or possibly Metal Gear Solid 2 HD? I've heard that's a bitch to do plus, I never had the chance of playing it till now.
I just want something difficult to try, none of that most plat stuff, since one could easily whore a few trophies. When I say difficult, I don't mean time consuming, I mean fcuking BRUTAL
EDIT: Perhaps Vanquish? I've heard challenge 6 is unbearable and requires you to literally be perfect or else it's game over. Plus, I've been wanting to grab Darksiders for the longest so Plus would do xD
If any of you guys have any suggestions, let Kriggs and/or I know
scotty243MemberRented God of War: Ascension earlier to experience the “epic” beginning to one of the most universal acclaimed hack 'n slash games of our time however so far, I don't think it's worthy of the gods I'm definitely going to give it some more time though, I'll probably squeeze in an hour or so before bed before I make the final decision if I want to finish it or not.
Finished off Resi 6 earlier, so that's off my hands (in terms of trophies). Been helping a friend out with No Hope difficulty and it's been more of a challenge than Pro. was. It's fun as well but that's mostly because of the cheap deaths
Going to finish off Max Payne 3 during the week so that'll be off my hands. 4 levels left to grind and I've made some more friends to grind through that steaming pile
Jack on aisle 3 please
scotty243MemberI would've mentioned RE5, but I'm not so sure about wanting to boost that game. As much as I'd like to possibly plat it, that multiplayer stuff doesn't sound appealing and after hearing numerous friends claim how terrible the experience was, I'm not sure.
As for the other stuff, Brotherhood does sound good, Revelations as well. I'm wondering though, do you guys know if the Ezio Trilogy comes with all the DLC or just the Assassin's Creed II “expansion” packs? I haven't platted any of those games and might as well catch 'em all
As for Uncharted 3, the guy who wants me to join him wants to start it sometime in the summer time, since he's the most free there. So there's time to think it through however the co-op stuff is only limited to 3 players, so we'll have to arrange stuff like that in the near future. Saying that though, everyone will get what they need.
What's the easiest to boost on the list? I'd personally like something nice and easy, nothing too hard and meaty
scotty243Member@ Seibei
The cult didn't add anything to the game, whatsoever. It was literally thrown in there to have some point in creating this DLC to have ignorant mindless players to say how there was a point. Also, the fact that it is literally the ending of the game is just disgusting. To be quite honest, I actually thought this DLC would be something since the opening was quite likeable plus I (what later turned out to be Vergil's Downfall DLC, I mixed up) thought it would be 6 chapters long. With that, the DLC felt as if it was building towards something more… monumental? I should be a bit more optomistic since I didn't spend a damn thing on this (got it free with a $10 voucher ) however it's the fact that Dead Space 4 is cancelled, that there's really no point at all in releasing this DLC or the actual game itself.
I let my guard down on this
