MemberWhen you beat the game, it ends. You can start a New Game+ starting with any chapter you want though. And you can always jump around the chapters like that.
Most of the trophies can be gotten across multiple characters, including collectibles, so I'm guessing that you can get Rootin', Tootin', Lootin' like that, too. I'm not sure about if you can do that with There and Back Again though. It seems like it could be possible. It seems like you would just pick a main character to use, then explore the whole island with that person. I don't know why you'd pick different people to go to different parts of the island.

MemberIt's online or local. I did it online. It's also good to do co-op to get the two “don't let the enemies get to this point” trophies. Also, don't worry about some of the trophies in the first playthrough, because when you unlock cheats, you can use those to earn trophies (except Superhuman). Infinite ammo, all weapons, and regenerating health help.

MemberYes, you can unlock pretty much any trophy in co-op, it's the same storyline with almost no differences, and you can get the Superhuman trophy in co-op. That makes it WAY easier since you can revive each other.

MemberBy the way, for anyone who had a corrupted save file (such as myself), the new patch will fix it. I mean, unless you legitimately corrupted it. But the whole thing where it corrupts if you had too many items is fixed. The new patch is pretty cool. Now that my save is back, I'll eventually go back to getting that Plat. That made me lose my momentum though. This is pretty much the game that should've been released on day one though.

MemberWhat is ADSC? I have absolutely no idea what that is.

MemberI think what he means is that it's stupid that when you level up, the zombies level up at the same time as you, so you don't really get much of an edge on them. It makes doing sidequests and stuff more pointless. Like the whole point in levelling up in an RPG is to get stronger to take out tougher guys, but then you can go back and completely destroy the low-level guys without a sweat. Also, the amount of health you get per level doesn't really make up for the increase in damage from enemy attacks at higher levels.

MemberGosh, so up until last weekend, me and my friend have had pretty good luck with this game. We never had any problems getting into each other's games and stuff and we didn't get a lot of game-breaking glitches. But then last weekend we couldn't get in each other's games and it was weird. Like the only times we could get in, our mics wouldn't work. So basically now whenever we want to get into a game, we both have to go and delete our game data, reinstall it, and get in like that. And if one person freezes or otherwise leaves, we both have to go back and delete the data and repeat that process.

MemberYeah, I haven't come across a lot of glitches so far. There was one where we were running to an objective, then suddenly I got teleported about 100m backwards. That only happened once. And the one that's kind of annoying is if I try to give my friend something and he accepts the trade, but I accidentally reject it, the trade will end and the items will just disappear so no one has them anymore. That happened a couple of times. But as for the co-op itself, we never had any trouble. He joined without problems, I never had any lag, he mentioned some lag, and there was one time where his game froze.

MemberMan, you guys were making me doubt this game for a while. Now that I've played it, I have no idea what anybody was talking about. I haven't come across any game-breaking problems and I've only been playing in online co-op, which supposedly has the most problems out of anything. Most of the bugs and glitches I've come across have been hilarious. I haven't had this much fun playing a game since…ever, probably.
Seibei4211
MemberI was not at all surprised with that patch. I don't hold it against them either. Anyone who thought this game was going to ship without a thousand problems is delusional.
@GHOST – I think I'd rather have the recipe than just the weapon. I mean, I'd be really pissed if I got to use the weapon until it broke, then never again until I found the recipe. And if they gave you the weapon and the recipe, you'd still only get to use it until it broke, so you'd have to find the parts for it again anyway.

MemberI'm getting it, but Resistance 3 takes supreme priority until I have that Plat. I'll have both games at the same time, but I'll probably just do Dead Island when co-op partners are on.
Seibei4211
MemberI wish they had just said that ages ago when it was first mentioned. I mean, if it's physically impossible, it's physically impossible. Guess we'll just have to wait for PS4.
Seibei4211
MemberWell you don't have to play with anyone and they can't do anything to mess you up. If they start leaving your area, then you just disconnect from them and it's fine. I'm sooo glad they disabled voice chat for this.

MemberYeah, when I was talking about a series of cases, I was somewhat referring to that cut Burglary desk. I wouldn't mind having a whole new desk to do. I would hope that they wouldn't stoop to zombie crap though… I mean, it just wouldn't fit at all. But then again, I don't think anyone expected Red Dead to get zombies either…
Seibei4211
MemberYou traded it in already? I gotta keep it for the next bit of DLC they've got planned. I hope it's a little more than just another case though. It'd be cool if they had a new desk with a series of cases with a cohesive story like the main game. But yeah, I won't accept not having 100% in that game.
