I'm just bummed that they canned the next film until something happens with MGM. Doesn't really make any sense, especially since this is the type of franchise that will make worldwide bank, not just in 1 or 2 regions…
The Penny situation is a bit conflicting for me. On one hand, I'd love for him to come back and get a ring, since he was one of my fav players in the 90's (I still have my Nike Zoom Air Penny's
), but on the other hand, that roster spot could be used to sign someone who could give more production to the team off the bench.For all the haters out there, lol, it must hurt witnessing all of them taking less money so that the organization can build an actual team. I'm pretty sure in the total overall contracts signed so far, there must be close to $100M left on the table between them (Flash, Bosh, LeBron, UD, Miller, Big Z).
I wonder if Shaq has thought of a return. Although, I'm not sure if he'd be welcome, but he is another BIG body to fill the lane and contest shots…
I don't like going off topic but here it is:
The Heat will win 70 games this regular season, plus the championship. Since the 3 Kings apparently all have opt-out options after the 4th year in their contracts, I envision a minimum 3 titles over the next 4 years. Only 2 things can stop them. Injuries and a lockout. THATS RIGHT!!!
