Member@redbren: I don't know if they are the same, but a friend bought them and he says all the maps are a camper's paradise. Snipers galore.

Memberoff-topic: San Andreas was probably my fav PS2 game of all-time. The vehicle customization, the soundtrack, the setting, the story, the EVERYTHING.
on-topic: I think RDR is gonna be the tits. The only thing that worries me from watching some trailers, is the voice acting. Some of it sounds brutal

MemberKudos to Activision.
They've found a formula where mindless 'tards will fork over a brand new games' value for map packs. All the while, LOL'ing all the way to the bank. Then a month or two down the road, those mindless 'tards ask themselves, “WTF was I thinking???”.
I think it started with COD4…
Rinse & repeat with WAW…
Rinse & repeat with MW2…
Rinse & repeat with ***insert title here***….

Estimated Time: 12 hours
Platinum Difficulty: 3/10
Playthroughs Required: 2 (can be done in 1, but I was unaware that the start button doesn't stop the timer)
Difficulty Trophies: Yes (if you start on easy, you won't be offered the easy difficulty trophy when you die a bunch of times)
Online Trophies: none
Most Challenging Trophy: The Challenge of the Gods – All were completed on the 2nd or 3rd attempt, but LVL 8 gave me a hard time, until Finch told me to spam L1+O. Got it 1st try using that method.
This was the 1st time I had ever played a GOW title. My 1st playthrough, I really wasn't “feelin” it all that much, as I don't really like linear type games, but it got better. As I'm probably one of the last people on earth with Sony consoles to ever play this, lol, I guess I don't really need to recommend it… For the speed run, I used the Dairy Bastard costume. Infinite Magic was awesome.
Anyways, I forgot all about it, but Cory has a great guide up on this site for the Collection GOW'S, so make sure to check them out. I'll check out the 2nd as I'm going to start it in a few days.

MemberSo, would towards the end of the month work for everyone? I know some people won't post here, but hopefully they'll participate. Should we try on a weekend?

Memberouch.
Wasn't it the same with the GOW 3 LE? Only a cheap little plastic box?
@Tray – Forgot to mention it in a previous post, but Welcome to the site

Member@ OZ – I hear you. The good ol' days of playing the mario karts, coolboarders (on ps1), twisted metals… those were great times, playing all-nighters on the old consoles with friends.
@ dizzle – Britney Spears: Slave 4 U comes to mind. I feel like a slave to the PLAT sometimes, haha

Member@GOW.
That is true, but I would have looked stupid if I would have pre-ordered Just Cause 2 at EB for 64.99 to get a monster truck, when I paid $39 at wal-mart, sans monster truck, lol

Tell me about it. The only reason I went back to R2 was because of the competition on this site, but once back on it, it was real fun. After playing the very boring/laggy, sniper-infested MW2 for a while, hitting R2 was a breath of fresh air, with the massive battles taking place at the center of every map. It was bananas.

It's not that bad…unless you have HM
The General
MemberI've never pre-ordered anything.
