Tridon : u dont like GTA? Never known anyone that didnt like it.
Well, I guess you've met your first person then. GTA is over-rated garbage. They always have a horrible main character who drives around to complete a few hundred repetitive missions which revolve a story that really is never that good. The last GTA for the PS3 was especially repulsive. The controls for driving was some of the worse controls I have ever encountered. I find the controls in Wheelman to be 10 times better yet that game gets 6's and 7's from every site while the GTA game almost always receive a 10 and GotY awards. Rockstar is a garbage company who makes garbage games. I don't think I've played anything from them that I have enjoyed since Smuggler's Run and the original Midnight Club. After GTAIII came out and was for some reason praised by all (even though, I will admit, it was impressive for basically being the fiirst open-world-type of game), Rockstar has made the same overly-violent piece of garbage over and over and over again. And if you can't tell, I feel quite strongly towards this topic.
tridonMemberEven though I'm a guy, I'd want to come back as a chicken just so I could hang with the other girls and compare who dates the bigger Cock. Oh yeah… I said it.

tridonMemberOkay, this game is making me mad today. First off, I tore about the entire Blob fight and never received the trophy for destroying everything in the grocery store even though everything was destroyed. And secondly, I'm going after Gambit right now and I'm at a part where I have to jump up four tiers while a helicopter is shooting at me. It's impossible to grab the top tier! I've been jumping at it for 40 minutes now and Wolverine will not grab on to it! It's angering me beyond belief. Can someone tell me how to do this before I go nuts?

Hey, since we're on the topic of being Canadian, I've got one! How about “eh”. That can mean pretty much anything here in Canada.
I dont get that. In Toronto, I have never heard anyone say “eh”.
But then i go to florida, and they ask : “So your canadain, EH”…. its like they are yelling the EH part…
I personally have never even said the word my whole life.
Other Canadians : Have you guys ever said EH?
Hmm, I guess this is only exclusive to Northern Ontario and not Southern… up here, saying “eh” after every sentence is practically a religion.
tridonMemberHmmm, I never had a problem like that with my copy. That's strange. I'd say just take it back for another copy.

2. HAWX (you hate it , i love it , going for plat , so it will be in the games i really liked this year , 'nuff said)
3. God Of War 3 , if its out , GOW is my fav' series.
4. Batman : Arkham asylum. i like Rockstar , i have always wanted a good Batman game , and the videos of it look great.
5. maybe Ghostbusters , as it is my childhood , if the game is good…
also , like every year i will love the new Fifa , the new Fight Night , and i'm getting myself the new Madden. although i have been saying that for the last 2-3 years , i really miss Madden… as for games like inFamous , Prototype , Terminator Salvation , Wet , etc … we'll see as the year advances , this thread will change…
You do realize that Batman Arkham Asylum is made by Rocksteady, not Rockstar, right? It's not made by the GTA guys (thank God… GTA sucks IMO).
tridonMemberI'm going to have to say that MARVEL is better, hands down. I've always been a Marvel fan. However, I will break it down for you:
MOVIES- In the last decade, DC has given the highest grossing super-hero flick in “The Dark Knight”. They also gave us one of the best Batman flicks with “Batman Begins” However, they also gave us the craptacular “Superman Returns” and “Catwoman”. As for unknown characters/stories, they gave us the okay “Watchmen”, the okay “V for Vendetta”, the okay “Constantine” and pile of crap that is “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”. I may be missing something there but I think that's about all them. Almost every single one of Marvel's film have been #1 opening weekend and have gone on to gross over $100-million at the box office, excluding “Elektra” & “The Punisher” and “Blade” flicks. That's pretty impressive in my books alone. The really impressive thing is that almost every one of their flicks is good if not great. I have loved the X-franchise, I have loved the Spider-Man franchise (the third being the weakest, obviously), I love “Daredevil”, the “Fantastic Four” flicks were good for what they were and “Iron Man” and “Incredible Hulk” were the best super-hero movies I've ever seen. WINNER: MARVEL
COMICS- Break it down and think about it for a moment. Who is the DC universe can you relate to? Superman is an alien, Batman is a billionaire, Wonder Woman is a princess… you can't really relate to anyone, can you? Marvel, on the other hand, you can relate to. This goes all the way back to Stan Lee's analogy of it all. X-Men were the outcasts just like most kids growing up. Spider-Man was the nerd who was picked on. The Hulk is just someone who is not understood. The Fantastic Four is a family. Sure, you still have the characters you can't relate to such as Iron Man (a billionaire) or Thor (a God) but still, you're already counting more in characters than DC. And they're much more interesting than DC's characters. DC is just so one dimensional. DC's other comic branches though are amazing. Vertigo is better than Marvel's MAX, easily. Still though, going to have to say… WINNER: MARVEL
ACTION FIGURES: This would've been Marvel back when Toy Biz still had the contract to make their action figures but ever since Marvel gave the cotract to Hasbro, their toys have gone down the crapper. DC's DC Direct is a great looking toy line which also makes figures based on actual storylines going on in the DC Universe. That is cool. WINNER: DC
VIDEO GAMES: Here's a tough one. Back in the day, Marvel and DC games were equally good. They were always fun to play with friends and always had great stories. Then came along superhero movies and, well, for the most part, ruined superhero games. “Marvel Vs. Capcom” and “Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe” are both incredibly fun fighting games. The “X-Men Legends” and “Marvel Ultimate Alliance” games are a lot more fun than the “Justice League” game that was put out. The “Iron Man” and “Incredible Hulk” games from Sega sucked, not to mention all the Spider-Man games since “Spider-Man 2 (I still say the original on the PS1 by Neversoft was the best). “Superman Returns” and “Catwoman” were equally as bad as their movies. The “Batman Begins” game definitely tried to be good, I'll give it that. I think it's all going to come down to the end of this year. Right now, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” is a kick-ass game. However, “Batman Arkham Asylum” looks like it has a lot of promise. Let those two duke it out for the title here because sure, Marvel puts out more games but their quality is diddly-squat for the most part. WINNER: TIE
There you have it. Overall, MARVEL is the winner. We'll see if DC can take the crown this year for games.

my list
1. Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time
2. Uncharted 2
3. InFamous
4. God of War 3
5. MAG
Would've never imagined your #1 game would be Ratchet & Clank.
tridonMemberI don't see this being a problem as you have to connect your controller to your PS3 for the system to recognize it before you can use it. However, if you plugged the same controller into both systems so both systems recognize it, something may happen. Try it out and let me know sometime! =)

um, theres some bands like Billy Talent and Alexisonfire from my hometown.
but famous people… theres Lester B. Pearson, who has done so much for Canadians, and was also the name of the school i used to go to (fun fact!)….. Hayden Chrishtenson, actor in Star Wars 2 & 3, and some other crap lol…but i think the most famous is Sir Fredrick Banting, one of crreators of insulin. He wasnt born in Toronto, but he did all his school and studies in Toronto.
Hayden Christensen is one of the worst actors in the history of acting. He's improved a little bit sit the suckfest that was the Star Wars prequels but he still a pile of patheticism. Umm… congrats on having such a great actor from your community!
Hey, i never said he was good lol i just said he was famous lol.
LOL. Seeing him famous definitely gives me hopes for the future.
