Yeah same, thought they would also, PS3, Wii and even Microsofts own PC is free, and the PC service is the same, its so not fair, while the 360 online service is great the PS3 is on par with it or damn close.
I canned my 360 Subscription, i had it since LIVE launched on Xbox1 over the years i have payed out almost $600AUD for online gaming, got fed up and as of 13th Oct i canned it and just play PS3 online now for free.
and with update 2.5 out im even more happy i canned the LIVE service.

Just what im thinking, im not sure paying out that much and heading to the shops for new cards is going to change this game so much, not like we are getting new levels etc(unless these is?), just new cards to throw down that you have to go out and buy.
IMO you should buy a new Set2 or 3 card set from the store and have a code inside the card pack to unlock Set2/3 on the game and not have to pay for it and still buy cards.
Im i getting this wright? or am i wrong, typing this out just seems so wrong, is Set2/3 extra stuff ingame or just lets you use set2/3 cards that you have to pay for? im condused now LOL
Memberi do remember that there was an issue with Wipeout HD, causing profiles to stuff up when you have over 50ppl on your list or something along those lines? maybe have a search online to see if this is the cause of your problem and may need to del you Wipeout Profile if its the case? but dont do it until you do find out whats causing it.

Memberyeah in Aus our net is not as quick and i have a max out connection to what i can get.
Its 8mb DL, 512kb upload speed, would consider this as fast enough to look at ppls trohpies list, i dont think its a issue with connection, i DL at amost a 1mb a sec or close, so if its taking 10 to 15sec its close to 15mb, surely someones trophies are more like kbs not mb let alone 15megs, its clearly an issiue with Sony servers that hold our trophy records.
But as Resistance and i said we shouldnt complain to much as we have a free service and trophies and im sure before we know it we will have instant trophy lists.

Yes i recommend it, but i will give you a fair heads up, the console does have its troubles, and thets RROD(Red Rings of Death) i have had 4 360 consoles, and i bought my Brother in laws consoles so iv had to take his one back 7 times with problems, so in total i have 2 consoles have been back 11 times. not good. 🙁
Not saying you will have this much trouble? but almost everyone i know on my 360 friends list has had a console replaced.
Its very loud and gets very hot, my friends make jokes that its the cause of global warming and they all sit around cooking a BBQ on after a gaming session LOL Funny.
And you have to pay to play online not cool.
Ok thats out the way there are many good things, great controller, games like Halo3, gears of war and soon gears of war2, PGR series, etc are all games i play and enjoy, its also very cheap now, and the face plates are great to change to give the console a new look.
So yes its good, but be prepaired you might have troubles and pay for online but other than that you will have some quality games to play.
MemberWell i just Delete my Old EOJ profile, tried to unlock the Victory vs Starter deck, had a victory but no Trophy this blow.
I did play it on beginner level but it didnt say you have to play normal or higher. hmmm
Has anyone unlocked any trophies without having set 2 and 3 which btw is totally wrong, the trophies should be for the game in general not so we have to DL the packs and go spend uber bucks on new cards, very unhappy with this.

was so wishing for this to be fixed in V2.5, it should be instant, sometimes it can take upto 30sec (this only seams to happen when friends have a lot of trophies say over 200) but an average of 10sec is very poor, dont even want to think how long it will take after a year and friends have over a 1000 trophies might take a day to load and use up my monthly MB on 1 profile LOL JKS.
If the 360 can bring up achievement points in a flash on our gamercards so should this, i will give Sony credit as they have been working hard to fix there network and im sure it will become much quicker and cannot complain to much as its a great service thats free.

Good point might explain why a few games that have just come out dont have trophies, just do hope they support the game/PS3 and give them Trophies as a patch, but it get annoying to Del you profile to get them, wish they have them from launch.
I have Tiger09, sweet game i think its moved forward 07 was great 08(didnt buy) but it was a huge step backward from what i read and what friends told me, 09 is back on track, graphics are slightly tweaked, but gameplay has been bumped up massive, and the shot tuner is an awesome feature as is the online support, EA doing something right for once. LOL
MemberI hired Saints2 only had it for 3days so this is based on only a few days play.
I think it similar to the first Saints, few changes but more in the direction of GTA4, at many times i just thought i was playing GTA4.
The graphics are ok but for the most part i think GTA4 looks better with more use of HDR lighting and such and also has a more real look than Saints does, saints is more a cartoon looking textures, hard to explain but i hope you know what i mean? some things look great like explosions and seeing smoke poring out of a blown up car looks incredible.
To be honest the whole GTA/Saints was great a few years back and while i do enjoy them alot it just getting a little old and can end up just being a game where you spend more time doing nothing than playing the missions hence why Trophies would really give a game like this more life, why it dont have it is anyones guess.
MemberI think Sony should do what Mirosoft is doing and force all game dev to add it to there games, we all enjoy getting something for finishing a game and having a little bit of bragging rights to show off.
While i think COD5 will not be that great (few friends are beta testing now) i do think that trophies are needed and should be added and this all comes down to Sony forcing it like MS has.

The PS3 Eye cam is an incredible piece of work, I have the 360 cam and its the biggest load of so and so.
The PS cam is so sharp auto light adj, auto focus and the Mic works so well for online, while i do not recommend it for full on online play as a headset is best, it does do its job if needed and 2 online friends only use this as a mic and get by very well but can become a little hard for them to hear everyone due to our voices coming though the same speakers as the games sound.
On games like Eye of judgment the Cam is just so perfect picking up every card and never getting it wrong(well never has for me) Sony should really give themselves a patt on the back with this unit they built.
MemberSounds like a good idea. few games that would be great if patched is GT5P graphics are just so nice and getting a good shot would look great.
Even PSN games like pain(have not played it) but looks like a few funny screen shots could be made from that game.
On an old site we use to do(just a small gaming team) we use to run this type of comp on FM2 and winner gets a Limited edition gifted car, or ingame credits worked real well, and was fun for everyone.
MemberLOL this is a hard one to pick, the PS3 would win hands down for hardware but then the 360 would smash the PS3 with its massive 7m x 12m power Brick and could charge at it with its massive fans that sound like jumbo jets, but i think the PS3 is safe because by the time the 360 swings its power brick it would have 3 red lights of death. LOL
So guess by default PS3 wins!!!
