if this does what it claims to be able to do wit the drawing lil cars and stuff, being able to interact with it in a semi real way, and not with powerglove like control, then this will be fun as hell.. i want it

i havent tried the demo yet.. i cant be bothered to download over a gig of data to play it.. tho i really want to play the game..

funny thing is, before i bothered to read up on this “Brütal Legend” title, i was convinced that somehow somebody was making a “Brutal: Paws of fury” sequel

when i first heard this game was coming out i was all “Ugh.. a crappy movie based game of one of my favorite series”

then i checked out the details, Konami, good… decent graphics, good… doesnt seem to be turning into a shoddy 3rd person shooter, excellent…

all seemed well until i saw the gameplay footage.. the puzzles appear to be re-iterations of previous things we've seen in the movies, or just slightly different.. some examples i saw in the footage were the exact same head mounted reverse beartrap thing that amanda's character in saw I was strapped into, and a toilet full of syringes with a key in it somewhere (a la SAW II's pit o' syringes)… my issues with these are twofold.. 1) jigsaw makes these contraptions by hand, and therefore it is highly unlikely that he would use the same trap setup twice, and jesus, more needles.. come on.. get original thoughts in the process and make the games traps crazier than the movies..

i'll play it anyways im sure, but the above paragraph is making me wonder if i should bother

well you can get a used one if you still wanna pay nearly full price for it.. for some reason only the regular BF: BC has dropped in price here.. regular version is $14.99 used and the gold is still $50 used i think

yeah but the ratchet and clank franchise didnt start strong and get crappy like sonic.. i think his point was that not having a baseline to compare skewes the judgement of the younger gamers a bit when it comes to games these days..
