There's been no mention of it so far but I really (REALLY!!) hope they drop the negative scoring from the online. Being punished for losing is harsh but when I drop rank because their crappy servers freeze up it's slightly rage inducing.

It'll be interesting to see how the evolving tracks work online. If a building collapses on a track, will it still be down next time that track cycles round? etc.

That sounds pretty damn sweet. I'm most excited about the changes they've made to the online. I always felt it was Motorstorm's biggest drawback. Persistent game rooms are a very welcome change and the vehicle customization will be something to have a bit of fun with.

I always worry when they overhaul the way a game is played so I haven't made up my mind on the new role the environment will be playing but I'm confident in Evo studios track creating abilities.

Hey man, I gave your track a run-through (Online, so I got the trophy for first race!) and the lay-out is cool but most of the track is in complete darkness. I have the brightness on my TV turned up a bit and I still found myself driving in to walls of black where I couldn't make out anything ahead. 

It should just be a case of changing the time of day or sticking up a few lights. 

It'd be handy if someone else here gave the track a go to see if they're having the same problem and post their findings here.

Apart from that issue, it was a solid, varied and dangerous track.

The trophy for getting in the top 10% on a Hot Lap might be a tricky one. I haven't put much effort into it yet but I keep seeing times of about five seconds so I'm assuming people are glitching already?

“Story”? What story? Every cut-scene in the game made me wince. I skipped almost all of the later ones. I love the game but the humour and dialogue is mingin'.

I think it's too early to tell. With the rate star players are dropping out injured the best teams in it could be screwed before the tournament even starts.

Well fcuk that with bells on. Even if you're “off a little bit” it's not going to make the trophy any less of a nightmare to get. 

If I get a download, rating and race I earn a whopping ten XP. So that just needs to happen 25,000 times and I'm sorted…

I think UFG are working under the delusion that their game is going to be a global phenomenon. There is no way in Hell the community is going to last that long. MNR just isn't popular enough. I never see anybody on my friend's list playing it. 

When LBP came out, everybody was glued to the game and even with much (MUCH) lower requirements it took quite a while to land some of the trophies. The Hearting threads still pop up regularly. 

Anyhow, I better get grinding. Thanks for the points guide Zanatos, even if it did depress the sh*t out of me…
