retail games always have platinums….that’s the standard…so any disc based game you buy that have trophies will always have a plat.
Anyway, i’ll give this game a shot just because it looked good. Hope my cuz buys this game.

i dont see the point in having a gold trophy for 100% completion when thats what the platinum is there for :S
complete the game 3 times.. i hate those trophies! they should only give one for either just completing the game or on completing it on the hardest difficulty.. (or both so u can get them in one playthrough).. i hate playing the same game twice…
just complete it on the hardest difficulty and you will get all 3

Yea Audaxx must be new. Just beat the game on the hardest difficulty first time out…. or whatever difficulty you need to play to unlock the hardest difficulty. That way you can get all the ‘collection’ trophies on the easy run and rush the game on hard.

There will be a platinum trophy. All disc-based games have one.
Come on now Sony has stated that all disc based games have trophies and therefore must have a Platinum. Resistance 2 platinum is hidden but you know it there. So trust Alienange he is right that there will be a platinum trophy.
The one thing I like about PS3 is that not all games have trophies. I really dislike it when people focus so much on the trophies that they miss out on all the great fun the game is … when it’s played in it’s oiriginal form. I don’t really care for the trophies. I have both systems everyonen on XBL seems to be achievement driven instead of playing the games right. Anyways…. the trophies are cool but they are sort of hit or miss I don’t really care about them really until after I have played the game and beaten it without a focus on the trophies.
@kan3.at0m – for me, trophies add a lot of replay value to a game. and at $60 a piece, replay value is very important
@kdrcraig – agreed. Thats why I like to look at them… like “I beat the game, what else can I do with it?” Just got this and played for fifteen minutes on my lunch break… earned one trophy, can’t wait to go back for more!

Haven’t actually gotten it yet (I’ll get it on my second run, I guess), but I’d think the best place to get it from is the very top of Arkham Mansion. It’s the highest place in the game I can think of.
yeah i could not believe the price when i saw it today! i thought it was a typo. this game for $38 instead of $69 is great! (i did already have a preorder from trading in 3 games, so i cancelled that, bought the batman game, and used the preorder for uncharted 2).
apparently the reason for the low price was that Best Buy screwed up royally with their price online, so they were stuck with it, and to compete everyone else had to drop the price for 3 days to $38 as well. someone at the store told me they saw it online at best buy for $7 last night (obvious mistake). so get the game while you can, its CHEAP!
Just got the game. I never knew it was $40. lol went to EB Games, they were all sold out. then went to all EB Games closer to my area…but all were sold out. so I went to Best Buy. They had em. I was relieved. And when I found the cashier is like. its $40. I thought he made a mistake. haha. great game so far. really love the Joker. Hes an awesome character and villian. Cant wait to play as him. Only at 4% trophies though. lol anyone whos considering getting this, GET IT. its better then most of the hyped games that came out this year. except for Infamous. lol

This is the best batman game ever I’ve got 41% in about 10 hours play time spent mos of the tome getting the riddler trophies, it’s been so much fun playing it, a definite more than one play through. Any one needs any help I can most likely help

I dont think you can do that. you need your own save file to get your trophies. I am playing as the Joker. Hes awesome. He even has a gun. but only one bullet. anyone know how to activate his X-ray specs and get more ammo? The Jokers totally worth it. even if it cost money, I would’ve still bought it. Great Game.

hey is the game actually HARD on hard?
I’m doing it on easy, lol. Just because I’m doing Riddler Challenges and trying to find all the collectibles and what not. Then I’ll go into hard and race through it.

after you beat the game can you roam the island because i have 85% of the riddles but can’t get to some i need because of ivy.

If you beat the game on Hard difficulty, you will be awarded the trophy for Easy & Normal as well. You do NOT have to play all 3 difficulties. This way, all the trophies can be earned in a single game. The most difficult trophy to earn is “Freeflow Gold”. Getting it requires a near-perfect combat performance in all the combat challenges. Unless you have a natural talent for the fighting system in the game, this trophy will keep you at arms length from achieving “Perfect Knight” and “Platinum”.

HARD MODE: Is it hard…?
That’s arguable, but ultimately, yes. It plays the same as other game modes, but you receive much more damage (About double the normal amount), Enemies are quicker to attack you, and the AI has a greater detection range in Predator events. And the biggest hurdle: You do NOT get the little “Spider-Sense” warnings when an enemy is about to attack you. They just attack & you have to pay attention to the enemies all around you to know when to counter.
NOTE: The difficulty you select does NOT affect the difficulty of the Challenges in Challenge Mode. So choosing ‘HARD’ from the start is a sure way to get all the trophies in a single play-through.
POST-GAME: After I beat the game, can I keep playing…?
Yes. After finishing the final battle, you are free to roam the world, solve any riddles, and acquire any upgrades that you didn’t get during the game. If you plan on getting all upgrades during the game, you can only do so immediately before the final stage. You acquire your final gadget 2 stages away from the end of the game, but the second-last Boss character prevents you from accessing many areas in the game to find your secrets.
VALUE: Is this game good? & is it worth it…?
Yes, this game is very good. The voice-acting, the entertainment value, the content, everything about the game is great. BUT as several have mentioned previously, once you beat it, there isn’t much to go back to. The Challenges are a great way to extend the gameplay, since you can replay combat & predator events to practice your freeflow combos & find new & creative ways to kill enemies.

Hey, dude. I was having trouble with that one and it was also my last riddle to solve. Anyways go into the East Wing of the mansion, and go to the area where you started tracking the warden. You should see a fire place in the room. Go stand in front of the fire place and turn around 180 degrees. You should see that there is a second floor up there. Now go back into the hallway and find the access to the second floor using your grapple gun. The 3 teeth are up here just look around for the last one because they aren’t all together. Hope this helps.
