Good game. Very fun. Its more like God of War than Castlevania
Actually Castlevania has had that kind of gameplay on previous games before God Of War was ever announced.
I’d say the gameplay is closest to Darksiders with it’s block/counter/dodge being one button.
@Banana Bread
No it did not. Don’t forget Castlevania was 2d not 3d. God of war was always 3d. That right there should tell you something about your comment. Whenever you take a game from 2d to 3d you have to revamp the engine and they gave it a combo system. They also asked the Metal Gear creator to help make the game. Do more research and really play the game before you comment on a pro’s response.
Ummm…Castlevania has had 3d entries since the N64. Which was before GoW
@Yomegas
A “pro’s response”? And what exactly was “pro” about you’re response? Did it take your years of professional gaming to accurately decide it was “very fun”?
And what does the MGS creator have to do with anything? I wasn’t aware Kojima had much experience with combo systems. Unless your idea of “research” is to look up widely known and irrelevant facts about the game’s production and rattle them off without context?
@ Yomegas
A pro? Are you kiding or something? All i see is stupid posts – ‘I’ll pass’ + ‘One for kids’ etc. I look’d at the forum and it doesn’t look like you post your ‘pro’ opinions there. Even calling them opinions is a strech of the imagination. I love it when people get above there station.
Your a twat and your moms the ‘pro’.
@Jakob
@I773D33MABL3
2 more haters today. Welcome to my pool of haters. I never said the the creator of medal gear designed the combo system, but he helped with the creation of the game as a whole. Reading is fundamental go to school to learn how to read and comprehend. Jakob you did not read all my post’s if you did you would not have made an incorrect assumption on how I responded to a post. You need to go outside and play little kiddy.
@YOMEGAS
Thanks for bringing up that reading point Yomy, did you try applying it to my whole post or just the single sentence you responded to?
And no you didn’t say that Kojima had done the combo system. But you were talking about the combo system and then randomly threw in a reference to him that didn’t seem to help your point at all. So my comprehension was that you were throwing in some isolated fact to try and boost your faux knowledge.
A hint for further posts: Try and lose some of the (poorly applied) condescension and concentrate on the words that somebody else has put in front of your face. Maybe your growing collection of “haters” might shrink a bit.
I really like Yomegas
But then i’ve always liked clowns. Do you have any party balloons?
@YOMEGAS
“Pro response”?
CrazyT306 is right, they did have 3D Castlevania games since the dawn of the N64. Maybe YOU should do some more research before blurting out something so “pro” because it not only makes you sound like an ass but also ignorant considering you had no idea there were 3D games of this title.
I noticed it is the same people arguing here as in the Enslaved Trophy List. Everyone is entitled to an opinion so stop bitching and just look at the trophies!
nah let em fight, i find it entertaining, I really haven’t played much Castlevania since the NES trillogy, I liked the videos i seen so far so i might rent this one.
ok, can we get back on point, what are the hidden trophies???????
The hidden trophies are completing the all the trials for each chapter.
@Swindler
thank you swindler
DLC!! Quality! The game was insanely good so I can’t wait to get my hands on this. US got it already though which is a total balls…
Hi all, agree it’s a fantastic game and I personally feel that this game surpasses many others of similar type. The DLC looks good, although I can’t find a UK release date, I’m wondering if I bought the US version if it would work with a UK game?
Anyone know?
Thanks,
Kam
I just platinumed this. This game is awesome. So far one of my favorite games ive played.
Good game over all. If u like god of war then u will enjoy this one too. The only thing i dont like jump is some of the screen angles it could get annoying when jumping on platforms with control in addition enemy bosses seem to contain the ground smash and other similar same attack moves but this things are minor. Overalll its 7 stars out of 10
