I have fun in the demo just standing on high buildings and throwing grenades on passing cars! Sometimes I manage to get a chain reaction going xD
btw BigWoopMagazine that could work but it would be insanely boring. Without the karma decisions it will take quite a while to get your karma all the way from full hero to full villian. It might be a bit quicker to do it your way, but it definitely won’t be more fun. You won’t get the main story differences either, because if you’re evil you get different missions to if you are good. Just play through it twice to enjoy the game.
InFAMOUS is so brilliant, one of ps3 best games
Played for a few hours last night and love it so far. The controls work very well. Question though, I pre-ordered from Gamestop to get the extra super power and I entered the code and installed it before I put the game in. Does anyone know if that screwed me over for getting the extra power?
Haza – I agree about the boring-ness of that idea, I was planning on playing thru twice, I was just sitting around thinking about it and thought I’d throw it out there. I went home and played and found a major flaw anyway… there are “good” side missions and “evil” side missions, that upon completing contribute towards a karma specific power. When you complete either a good or evil side mission, it locks one of the opposite kind out,,, thus you can only max out one or the other per game, forcing you to play twice to earn the max abilities trophies for good/evil.
craig – no, you’re not screwed. It should be available as soon as you acquire your basic powers in the game. I’ve done the same thing with other games and add-ons.
I gotta say I’m having a lot of fun just hitting rails and power lines and then gliding, it gets intense! I like the stunt list too, I’ve only done 13 so far but theres a couple unique ones that are actually challenging…
bigwoopmagazine – thanks. I read on the playstation.com forums that you can just re-download and install it from your downloads list if you do the code before installing the game. Gonna give it a try tonight after work.
This game rocks. Got 55% of trophies so far and probably played about 10 hours or more. Have all but 60 some blast shards. does anyone know where to find them all? it might take a lot of time jsut going around the whole board district by district. add me on psn. smittyde77 level 6 gamer
Damn this game is awesome! Got it earlier, special edition, and loving every minute of it!!! Some of those kill specific trophies are going to take me ages to get though, like 100 high fall take downs. I rarely seem to manage to actually kill anyone with that.
The game is great but it funny how every time i recharge him or power up the city it reminds me of Crank 2 High Voltage lol
@ Haza12 for the high fall takedowns use R1 and X to throw enemies off buildings, I haven’t got the trophie yet but that is the easiest way I’ve found to get the High Fall Takedowns, works best on Reapers or Dustman, the third island enemies are too strong.
By the way I love this game, been a long time since I’ve played a game that I can’t put down.
Just beat it as good, the ending threw me for a loop. This game is so god damn good, I think I can say it falls right behind Final Fantasy VII as my favorite game of all time.
Amazing game. The story was actually quite well done too, but that shouldn’t surprise me based on how awesome Sly Cooper is.
As far as collecting trophies, blast shards are easily the most time consuming, which I’m working on now. Anyone have any tips for getting them, or is the best way just systematically working through every island and crossing off areas?
COLLECTING BLAST SHARDS
When you press L3 the blast shards appear as tiny dark blue dots on your radar.
I’m doing the shards systematically on my second play thru… everytime I clear an area of enemies, I check it thoroughly for the shards… time consuming but it should work. It seems like theres a lot more of them in neon and warren than the historic district, which doesn’t make any sense considering the blast was in the historic district… but whatever
Awsome game, played the demo and loved it, i cant wait till thursday, ill go buy is asap and i guarantee il platinum it like all my other games, to otehrs who arnt sure about this game, i suggest you get teh demo, play it and check if its your type of game, to me its like GTA, but you have electricity power instead of a gun, lol just buy the game, and enjoy

just finished getting platinum on this game! it was really fun i’ve played it non-stop basically since it came out. reminds me of uncharted sometimes in how good the story was and how fun the game was overall to play. i enjoyed playing as “good” more than “evil”, thought the black lighting you eventually get was pretty badass.
the stunts are a pain in the ass but they can be done so keep at it, get as many as you can while you play the story, as it may be harder to get some after you’ve cleared all areas.
for the blast shards i recommend doing what someone mentioned before. you should systematically search through each part of each district. there is a map floating out there on the internet which has how many shards are in each section of a particular district (useless really) but its good if you print it out and then after you search that part then cross out that section. that way you don’t backtrack and you can move ahead and find all the shards. good luck!
Beat it as evil on hard last night. Now I just gotta go back and get the rest of the blast shards, finish the stunts, and clear all the districts. Might take me a while cause I was getting a little sick of playing it last night, I played it so much over the weekend.

Dangit…I played through as evil and got to inFamous and I beat the game, and I didn’t get the “Truly Infamous” trophy. WTH!?!?>!?!??!?!?!????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! God, I don’t wanna do that again!!!! DANGIT!

Can you find all sharps when you play good? I have miss 20 sharps and i cant find them.

While on a mission you could choose between stealing a bundle of shards from this guys locker or accept the one he offered. I finished the game and need 4 shards. Did i lose them by not stealing the bundle or will they appear somewhere else?

actually, the mission shards do not account to your total shards at all. For example if you do a ‘hidden package’ mission, then the 5 shards you get will not be taken off the total you need. There are 350 Shards loose all around the city.
On another note. Platinum… Wasn’t the easist one the obtain, however there are a lot harder ones.

wow POkenny i think your right with the shards when you get a hidden package you get 5 blast shards but that dosent count there are 350 shards around the cithy al least 100 on each island im on hard mode add me ill be adding you if i see you on all ps3 trophies
Got the platinum on this Friday night, had a lot of fun getting it.
havin a bit of trouble getting the high fall take down trophy, what is the best way to get high fall take down guys, only this and two more trophies left!
@ NinjaMidget – anytime you fight an enemy on a roof, shockwave him off of it and as long as he doesn’t land on the roof of a lower building and dies when he hits the ground you’ll get credit. It takes a while but you get it eventually.

has anyone here actually got a 100% game completion? I am not talking about trophies.I am talking about when you look at your game save and it says how many shard,dead drops,stunts,etc. This is why I ask.
I have platinumed the game and have finished the story missions on both good and evil(evil on hard). I have collected 700 shards(350 for each karma),I have done all stunts on both karmas,I have taken over all territory on both karmas,I have collected all dead drops on both Karmas,and I have everything possible purchased on both karmas.
Both game saves will not go past 96% completion for some reason. Please someone tell me what I am forgetting to do. Thank you very much.
How do you know how much you have left? How many shards, moves, etc.

I was wrong, i got 349, but still sucks, because i dont know what shard is missing.

Hi guys, little help. I beat the game as a hero but only completed 18 of the 21 stunts, and i´ve started a new game as evil. If i get the last 3 stunts in my second playthrough as evil will i get the trophy, even though its a different game? It usually does on other games i´ve played. Please help!!!
No you won’t get the trophy, you’ve got to do all the stunts on 1 playthrough.
