Total Trophies: 48The Lord of the Rings: Conquest puts players into the thick of the tremendous battle over The One Ring, playing out battles from both sides of the confrontation! Conquest will let players take control of many of the characters and creatures from the series and pit them on any of the franchise’s famous battlefields.

Actually all the silver online trophies won’t be that easy. According to game devs you cannot ‘choose’ to be Aragorn, Legolas or Gimli etc… These are what you call ‘Heroes’ So for example the Archer Hero class is Legolas. The only way to be promoted to a Hero class in the Online campaign is to do really well for a set period of time. If you’re on top of the leaderboards in a Team Deathmatch as an archer for a long time you’ll be promoted to Legolas. Only then can you every try to attempt to get the ‘You have my bow’ trophy. So it’s not gonna be that easy.

I’m not a big LotR fan, and I didn’t hear about this game until a week or two ago, but I’m actually excited about how this game will turn out. Heck, it might ALMOST make up for the lack of Sta-Wars-Battlefront-3-ness!
this game doesnt look too good so far but if it turns out to be like the Star Wars BattleFront games it will be a brillant game for me huge LTOR fan so hope this game is good

Watched all films, read all books, had return of the king and two towers on PS2, watched the trailer, werent that impressed, I actually thought it was a scene from return of the king. If its like battlefront though it will be better, still getting it. Its amazing how many games they have generated from a trilogy of books.
Love the films and games. Will be getting this when its out trophies look kinda easy. Is there a demo because cant see it on PSS? And the games were not generated from a trilogy of books because they also did one based on The Hobbit book. Shame they never made a film based on that because that tells you alot about how it all starts.
A movie on The Hobbit is set to come out in 2010. I’m pretty excited about it, actually

I was going to get this game until I noticed that small black and yellow logo on the cover. Their customer service is cr@p. You ask them a question about a trophy glitch (tattooed millionaire) on their forums, you get banned and can’t visit the site anymore. Hopefully anyone who gets this game doesn’t have problems/glitches…
Great game, i played the demo and if i got enough money ill buy the game. The silver trophies wont be easy to get. But i dont care about that XD
The demo was fun, i guess. I fount it almost like a repeat of Return Of The King game for the PS2. But what bothered me the most about this game was that it didn’t look like they put a lot of effort into making it, because the graphics are just terrible compaired to other games on the PS3. ( Not including the past games that can be purchased on the PSS).
I really thought they should of put more work into the graphics and gameplay. Hopefully they can change that before release but i guess that is up to them.

I am getting pissed off with the Kill 3 nazgul and kill gandelf, those ones are shit.
i thought all the story trophies were easy enough and obtained them in my 1st playthrough (except the combo one) but those multiplayer ones are difficult
kill 3 nazguls is the easiest trophy offline aand its silver !!! and to kill gandalf if yu die, just wait 10 mins and yu can be sarun agian and gandalf is half weakend
LAME! You have to play through this game by yourself to get the campaign trophies! I thought it would be fun to play though the game with a friend but it does not give you trophies.

Really?…that was the only reason I was going to rent it so I can play the campaign online co-op w/someone instead of just myself….that does stink. Many other games (like Mercs 2) have online co-op that you get the trophies.

anyways the campaign is too easy for me..the online challenge in this game is the online ones especially the be the top scorer in the winning team online..the others are just gonna take some time but very obtainable..my friend already has the platinum so maybe he can help me out..

I need help getting ‘You Have My Axe’ trophy. where you have to get 20 kills as Gimli in team deathmatch.

for the 1 with Gimli, just do an offline, instant action hero team deathmatch. Not all levels have gimli so you might have to quit and do another level.

For the Gimli trophy:
Single player – Instant action – team deathmatch – Osgiliath level. Also make sure to edit the match settings and put the kill limit up to 100.
The Frodo one is probably the hardest one to get. The best way to try and get it is to join an empty game with you and a friend and try to rush through it 1v1 style.
This trophy is difficult for the following reasons:
For starters the only map where you can be frodo is the shire.
To be Frodo you have to be leading the match in points after the second ring is captured for your team (opponent kills worth 20 points, ring captures worth 100 points)
All Capture the ring ranked matches begin in Pelennor Fields and it is 4-5 maps after that until you can play in The shire. (you can’t choose the starting map in ranked play)
When you finally get to the Shire map, everyone wants to join it and get the trophy…. or screw you out of getting it.
