Ugh god…..I have ocd…..I just got up to 50% now when they release the stupid dlc It won’t be 50% anymore…..Dang I hate ocd.
yeah i had 67% on this for the longest time (only completed 2 speedruns as i get too frustrated by the other ones!) and now its gone down to like 50% or something. i hate how download content for games reduces your percents! i’m anal and like to have high completion, if not 100% on most games! bah!

lol, i got the platinum last month and now i have a platinum with 85% 😉
you don’t need the DLC trophies to get platinum.
if you wanna do a stomp move , go to say chap.1 , near the end theres two cops , one near a block you can jump on ,so get up there, face the cop , run , jump , and when you’re above him (more or less..) , press R2… cha~ching! it’s a me!
ive already got 63 stars on time trials (thats all 3 stars bar the last 2 so i have a nice headstart when the map pack is released 😉 apart from that all i have to do is complete the game on hard mode collect all the bags and do a couple of the moves 😀

the DLC isnt out (in europe at least) , but yeah , it takes the trophies into account….thankfully , as always , you don’t need DLC trophies to get platinum…

So I see everyone asking whether or not you need DLC trophies for platinum… Im wondering whether Im going to be able to get the platinum by getting more stars with the DLC… I cant get the 50 stars from the time trials there are…
well i guess the DLC time trials can help you get 50 stars , the trophy will unlock , nothing to stop you now……although tobe fair theres 23 time trial stretches , that means you need to have them all on 2 stars (=46) and 4 of them must be 3 stars…. hard but not impossible , try downloading other peoples ghosts , they will show you new routes…
another good option is to check out peoples 3 star time trial runs on youtube, i probably couldnt have got 50 stars without them

Its confirmed.This is the most frustrating game I have ever played lol. And i dont get frustrated easily.
It is boggeling my mind. Here is the situation. I was trying to do chapter 2 speed run and was failing miserably,so I went to you tube to get some pointers and found something that really annoyed me.At the part where you go down into the big hole/drain thing and you push that button to open the big door,go through that one and there is another button to open the second door into the area with all the platforms. Well according to the videos I watched,when the person in the videos push that second button there time stops.Mine on the other hand keeps ticking away when I hit that button.Not just a few seconds either.Almost 40 seconds tick by while I am waiting for that 2nd door to open. Even in the videos there screen flashes like its going into a cutscene while they are waiting for the door to open and there time is flashing and paused like they are in a cutscene. I hit the button and and nothing happens =\. I sit there waiting(almost 40 seconds like I said) for the damn door to open.Now that pretty much makes that level as close to impossible as it gets lol.
So I am wondering what do I have to do at that spot to get my clock to stop like everyone else I see doing that level? Cause there is no where else in the level I can shave off almost 40 seconds to make up for it.

I have watched that video repeatedly and copied it exactly many times,but my time never pauses at that spot like in the video =\.

it should be possible, i got to that button in 3.03 when i did it and after many, many attempts i started to relise no matter what it always took 34 secs for the doors to open, this meant i was in the drains in about.. 3.40 i completed the level in 10.35. although i have never tried this on chapter 2 on some levels whilst waiting for lift doors to open to save time pausing the game stops time but the game can catch up on itself meaning after about 30 seconds of paused time the doors open as soon as you unpause but i am not certain if this is what happens on these doors. but you can try, don’t get your hopes up though just incase I’m wrong.

i wouldn’t agree , as chap 7 ‘s parking lots are a pain and the server room on chap 9 gave me an ulcer…..but chap 2 is the worst as it is the longest. but yeah , it’s never QUITE as bad as chap 2.
This game has thouroughly kicked my a$$ lol. Anyone who has a platinum on this game is the friggin man(or woman)and I commend you. I am a pretty good gamer and have some pretty difficult trophies under my belt,but I have never felt more defeated and frustrated than this game has got me lol. For now it will sit at 57% complete as I need a break from it and have Killzone 2 coming in a few days. It will bug me to no end though to look at my trophies and see it sitting there incomplete as I am a completist or completionist whichever is the correct word, I am not really sure lol. So hopefully down the road maybe i will be able to get it done.
Well I stuck it out a little longer and got my 50 star rating finally.which bumped me up to 64% Only thing I have left to do now is
speed runs 2-9,but those will have to wait lol.
I’ve just started playing this game, had some difficult at the beginning with the controls, but I think it gets easier as you play along the game. I’ll see how difficult it is. =)

i somehow managed to get 4th in the world on the chapter 9 speedrun kind of by accident all i was trying to do was to up my time as i had fallen off the top 100 leaderboard so i went on it and tried it once and got 4th ! 🙂

43 stars 7 more 2 go that 9th speed run is hard get like 9:00 mins do any 1 know so short cutes 5th speed run is very easy because i know the short cutes platinum is going 2 b easy

I dont know if i should buy this game again , i rented it and only got a mere 27 percent on it , im just dont think i ould be capable of the speed runs , especially when im playing PS3 a computer is available for me . What do you guys think , im willing to get higher percentage since i know for sure i missed alot of easy ones , but are the speed runs really as hard as everyone says they are ?

just got the platinum for my 6th this game was absolutely solid those speedruns were a nightmare but stick at it people and you will get there. not going tho attempt the dlc trophies this games going straight on ebay 🙂
