Yeah it turned out that columns wasnt so tough. However these games are alot harder on the eyes, but for the love of the old school games well worth it. Its pretty sweet that the old codes still work for some of the games like vectorman 2.
No trouble telling the developers didnt care about the trophies in this game. Use magic 10 times in golden axe is a gold….as is beating mean bean machine. Thats like entering a kung fu competition and fighting Bruce Lee in round 1 and then a bound and gagged Christopher Walken for the win.
ah but if that was the case you never would have gotten past round one cuz im pretty sure bruce lee could take you.
is this also known as the sega megadrive: ultimate collection?

i get out me sega often mainly to play golden axe and streets of rage, looking around you cannont buy streets of rage 3 or golden axe 2 or 3 anywhere so this is goin to be a treat for me.

it came out in the uk on the 20th.
get it from play.com or GAME and it’s cheaper than most stores.
that particular Zelda game, on the snes you mention is called A Link to the Past. I have it original cartridge of it, and an original snes under my bed 🙂

yeah you have to play ALL games in one sitting. it’s not too hard because as soon as you see the sega logo, you can press select, an exit the game. you’ll have it in less than 10 minutes.
the platinum on this is very easy, but let’s face it, I got this game for the GAMES. I preoredered this game before there was any word on it having trophies. playing all the classics again for TRUE replay value. it brings back so many happy memories. 🙂

so is the Unlock Everything Trophy means i have to finish all the games?
Unlock everything.. theres like 15 things or so.. dunno around there. you get them by the unlocking the trophies, except sonic 2 you have to beat the first boss 2 player(easy) I just plat’d this one last night. That damn mean bean machine, I won by luck like 30 seconds into the match getting a 4 times combo! yay.
omg JamSquad mean bean machine was my last trophy and i won the exact same way as u i was lucky to get the 4 times combo nd he lost i was sum happy
this is a awesome collection of games. the one thing i find weird is that the cover art shown here is different and it’s called the mega drive collection.
Platinum atlast…took me one day cause of that Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine…got lucky…

Elfarko, what i did was select tails by himself and as soon as i got 100 rings i got trophy. BUT……… What i need to know is … >< How do i unlock Roo in streets of rage 3??? did that a loooooong time ago on sega lol and cant rememeber how now. could some1 plz help?

this game is great all thos egreat memories come rushing back, got pissed off with mean bean machine though so i used the cheat for the last level and got my girlfriend to do it she loves those games. all in all this is a great collection of sega games i doubt i’ll ever sell this one

has any 1 got any advice for columns its one of the only ones i have left the best I’ve done is 13,000 i find it veerryy tedious 😐
nvm got the columns trophy 🙂 when the flashing diamond things come if u leave a space on the gronud and place it there it gives u a 10k bonus 😀

Not sure if it works or not but my brother got it and claimed he went did it in classic mode, he has the plat i still need it to unlock the last video and Yatta! So with that in mind i am going to try this theory out and will post when i have done it myself, don’t wanna post a misinfo again

Small tip to people having trouble earning a hard trophy…
There’s a really nifty feature in this collection: Save Game. That is, whenever you’re playing a game, you can hit [Select] > Save Game, at ANYTIME. And it’ll save your game *in its exact state* so you can resume *exactly where you left off*.
Understand? That’s right, unlike the original arcade-style games where there was no save (and if you lost all lives and continues, then sorry!), their emulator has a real good load/save feature. It’s dang fast too. So you can save at the beginning of Sonic levels, no need to write down passwords for Echo, etc… if you make a mistake, the power of Sega’s Genesis Collection emulator lets you re-do anything.
just got dr robotnik left.. i hate this game so cheated to get to the 13th level. finding it a bit to fast paced and getting wiped out.. is it easier to play through the game to build up the skills needed for level 13.?? anyone thats completed this.. i would love some tips.. i already watched youtube but didnt find it much use.
