this is stupid…go to the link that i posted above,Eidos says that the patch for the trophy is still being worked on and it they will have to pass it to Sony Computer Entertainment for approval of the trophies and patch and then they will be able to give a plausible release date for the trophy patch..

thier probably revamping the collection for the beneath the ashes add on or something cuz alot of games have added trophies for new add ons like RE5 and prince of persia that probably werent intended when they first developed the game
dont hold quote me on that though im not really sure if the add on is multi plat yet but the trailers are listed under both ps3/360 still so as far as im concerned its coming to ps3
i hope they finish up soon though they announced trophies a while ago and im gettin kinda bored of kz2, re5 and ut3 but i still gotta finish alone in the dark

this is really stupid now it has been mounths and they have not even done a simple patch. I have just got platinum on james bond and i as waiting for the patch on TR before i get RE5. If someone has any news on TR patch release date please share. 🙂

Hmv and game online have 22nd May down as the platinum classics release date, Maybe the trophy update will coincide with this re-release it would make sense as i’m sure Edios would rather people go out and buy brand new platinum copies than buy second hand copies which gives them no revenue.

Just checked, still no patch. Seems next week is likely. The Platinum version is out on the 22nd, so perhaps an update on the 21st – it’s a Thursday.
I put this game on hold to wait for the trophy patch and I’m not playing it until they’re patched in.
Now, where’s my trophies?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
P.S. If the trophies aren’t out by next Friday, I’m giving up on this game…

well i got the game right after release, and have held off on playing, cause of the rumors of trophies. which was the same case with Uncharted, i had it and held off. but if inFAMOUS, is released before the patch, this game will be traded.
Eidos, announced back in Feb about a trophy patch for the PS3 verison of Tomb Raider… 2 months down the line nothing… Now I think there won’t be any trophies as Eidos have really cocked this up big time. The lack of support from Eidos and Crystal Dynamic who are the creators of the game is appalling.
It doesn’t take long to do a trophy patch for the game? I’m afraid this game is going to be collecting dust in my game collection as of the 22nd of May we have Bionic Commando and then the 29th of May I have inFamous coming. So Tomb Raider won’t get played for a long time. No point trading it in as you won’t get much for it, so your losing out big time. You might as well keep the game and just wait like most others. I am patient but saying that the team is looking into it and now 2 months have passed it does make you think whether they were talking crap.
If Crystal dynamic hasn’t released a trophy patch for this game, then why has this site have misleading information about the game trophies?

it is not misleading information there is a link up the page that takes you to the eidos website were the staff have left a message about the patch seems like years since they said there will be a patch.
@ I’m annoyed, but I agree with most others here.
It’s not 2 months down the line. Its nearly 4, nearly 5, months since it was announced.
Anyway, I think – I hope – that this patch is not merely a trophy patch, but a patch fixing camera issues, edge detection, graphical glitches, AI glitches, etc., etc. and that’s why it’s taking so long.
If not then Crystal Dynamics and Eidos are the worst companies in the world.
Now, stop sucking up to Xbox and give us the DLC.

Its a great game and I know the trophy patch is taking ages, but its probably going to fix some glitches and camera angles. They did have alot of time to do it… So it better be good Eidos.
yeah, and really, this isn’t a great game. its an ok game. there really needs to be more enemies in it, and the aiming system makes it really easy. the graphics are beautiful and I like the puzzles, but thats about it.

Anyway, @lesliewilson – I have 3 platinums, nearly 4. You obviously have a lot more trophies than more, and probably quite a few of the people on this site. Why are you having a go at people who enjoy collecting trophies? You are on a trophy site.
I also think Tomb Raider is a good game without trophies, but I am willing to wait until it gets trophies because I feel they help me get more out of a game, and they give a representation of how much of the game I have completed.

i bought this game on release completed it in no time very average and traded it in and then heard about patch what is it with trophys that made me re buy it .now am still waiting to play average game just to get trophys think were all becoming to obsessive.
